Yesterday they reported Edleman out with a leg injury. Saw the dvr, after he gets hit on the goal line you see Kelly Gregg and Fabian Washington basically help him out when he got up. The body language was that they could see in his eyes he wasnt sure where he was and almost lead him in the direction of the pats sideline. Looks like a concussion.

That's what I was thinking too. There was a brief shot of him on the sidelines with a couple team medical staff looking at him. he looked like he wasn't certain what planet he was on.

Reiss tweeted a little while later that it was a head injury, not a leg injury.

At least Woodhead got back at Lewis for the hit.

Personally I blame Maroney for passing the made of glass virus to Edelperson before his abrupt ticket outa town

I was watching the Bronco game and almost spit my drink out when I saw Maroney dancing toward the line.

Bit of a Sophomore slump maybe?

I think that mixed with being injured during training camp, and means he has missed some time of getting his body ready again!

Guess i was wrong on that one. Maybe he's the Tony Simmons of RBs. I was watching XFL or Europe or something and the said Tony Simmons and i wondered if it was the same guy.

Next play is third and ten and Simmons runs a perfect nine yard out pattern and steps out of bounds untouched. Same guy. Unbelievable.

If the guy can ever stay healthy for more than a game at a time (and I have my doubts at this point), then he would make a serious impact in the passing game. Unfortunately, he seems to have inherited the Fred Taylor syndrome.

somebody fixed it i would have loved to see the stats like that would have gotten a laugh out of me

Was this hit maybe why Meriweather got a little feisty?

There's a History feature on Wikipedia that lets you see prior versions of the page.

As for Edelman -- he's the #4 WR. Nice-to-have, and active on game days if he's healthy, but not needed so badly that he should rush back at the expense of his health.

Whatever his previous injury was is still ailing him. He was not good on the early PR's at all. He's been practically useless to this point in the season even before that hit, he's clearly hampered.

If Edelman continues to under-perform, and the other WRs continue to play well & stay healthy - and esp. if Brandon Tate can become a factor in the passing game - then Edelman will start becoming a scratch, healthy or otherwise.
