There now are only three 1-loss teams left in the NFL this season.

The Ravens beat 2 of them, and lost to the 3rd, with all three of the games being close.

The only other loss among them was ... well, you know.

A case could be made in the weekly power rankings for putting AFC East teams 1-2 (and presumably not in the order that would gladden our hearts), although I imagine The Return of Roethlisberger will get in the way of that in many listings.

The Jets win INFURIATED me! They STOLE a win. Stole it on an under-thrown desperation pass.

Now I'm getting sick to my stomach listening to WFAN NYC Sports radio. They're so frigging stoked and giddy this morning.

I freaking hate to say it, but after watching that crime yesterday, everyone's gotta be thinking The Jets are the team of destiny this year.

One effing miracle play and we're sitting in second place. Pats deserve 1st place all alone after yesterday. Now NObody is even paying any attention to the game in Foxboro yesterday.

All because of one PATHETIC Sanchez pass.

Makes me SICK!!!!!!!!!!

(and I don't wanna hear "It's a long season, brah." or "Fine. I like flying under the radar." We got screwed. Problem is...

That Jet win stays in the left hand column ALL year. We better not be tied or a game back come January, 'cause that Denver bullsh*t better not count later when it matters. d%#*!@t!!!!)

Santonio Holmes has a way of turning horrible passes into game-winning catches or in this case, using his acrobatics to create a penalty. Not a bad pickup for the Jets---you can argue that he's already won a couple games for them.

Luck is a part of the game......it all evens out in the end....

Pats will get lucky in games later...Jets won't....

Just hope that the next game vs Jets at The Razor really matters for both teams. I like the looks of the Patriot D and it should be even better later in the season.

It would be nice if the refs would pay attention to PI and holding when the Jets are on defense as well as when they are on offense.

The thing that annoyed me about that call was that Holmes grabbed the cb jersey when he was falling the then the cb grabbed at his face mask, should have been a no call, guess the ref didn't see Holmes grab the CB when he was falling.

The Jets get gifts from the Colts, Bengals x2, Chargers, Pats, Dolphins, Bills and now the Broncos.

Damn the Ravens, they are not very giving.

A plethora of gifts.:)

Oh boy! Lookie that. Gunnails is a tallkin' ta me. I see ya all tha time-o 'round here.
Now, listen you. That's not a good 'nalogy and u know so. Tha Colts game regular season last year was a gift. Yesterday too. Not tha rest. Sanchez hucks it way short and hilarity ensues. Not one bit what mole face had in mind. Wacky stuff always happens late in games in Denver.

Plus, ima in tha middle of the freaking melee walkin' round NYC in my nice Brady jersey this morning and yer all tha way over there. Thinka how much more fun it woulda been today if it wasn't fer that Denver Miracle junk.

Hey Gunny, ever see "My Private Idaho"? Portland looks pretty decadent in that flick. I'd like to partake in that typa wacky lifestyle fer a few years too! bwah! River Phoenix art imitating life in that one awlright.

What the hell are you talking about?

My question is: Who will be the last team with only 1 loss?
After looking at the schedules, I'm going homerific and saying the Pats! :)

If we only had Julius Peppers;)

I keed I keed........

a pass rusher would help.

Cunningham had a good game.......but can he do it every week?

......already drinking?

Did you guys actually see the Jets game or are you only reacting to the one call at the end where Holmes catches the ball if he doesnt get grabbed by the facemask. The Jets got killed by the refs in this game (see Leonhard helmet to helmet, Cromartie fantom interference and two questionable offensive PI calls in a row). Listen, they got lucky because Sanchez could have been intercepted 5 times yesterday but NOT because we got help from the refs. They got outplayed by a desperate team after coming off a Monday night game and travelling across the country in that altitiude and found a way to win. That never would have happened last year.

Now as far as the 1 loss teams I think at this point you can make an arguement for any of the Pats, Jets, Ravens & Steelers as to who is the best team. And we are forgetting about Indy and Miami (hate to say it). AFC is a beast this year and whoever ends up going to Dallas will NOT be getting there by being lucky.

Pittsburgh seems to be the strongest of all 1 loss teams and with Ben back I can hardly see them losing more than 3 games this year unless Polamalu or Harrison gets injured.

I hate Pitt so its hard to say it,but they appear to be the class of the AFC with a short loss to the Ravens in a game they were in control of.

What gives me a glimmer of hope is that the rookie McCoy put up 280 yards of passing yesterday against them.

Well we got the loss out of the way and we got the running up the score out of the way ... now there is clear sailing to the Super Bowl.

2 weeks in a row the Jets got a break. I don't know what pisses me off more, yesterday's intereference on Holmes, or Farve overthrowing Harvin on a screen pass that probably seals the game for Minny.

The sad thing is the Jets really don't have that tough of schedule the rest of the way. Outside of the game vs us and the Steelers. I see them winning the rest of their games.

Sun, Oct 31 Green Bay
Sun, Nov 7 @ Detroit
Sun, Nov 14 @ Cleveland
Sun, Nov 21 Houston
Thu Nov 25 Cincinnati
Mon, Dec 6 @ New England
Sun, Dec 12 Miami
Sun, Dec 19 @ Pittsburgh
Sun, Dec 26 @ Chicago
Sun Jan 2 Buffalo

Steelers don't worry at me at all. Brady and BB can figure out that defense.

No way. If there's anything we know about the Jets, it's that they're due for a few stinkers each season. It just has worked out so far that their stinkers come when the other team decides to stink more...
