Youre a disgrace

It was embarrassing, sure you may not agree with every decision but to boo your team? Nantz, Simms and half the NE team couldn't believe it

You dont deserve this team

I agree....And don't come back with the paying customer BS! Having said that....I would be willing to bet whoever was booing them off the field at the half does not post to this site.

This is a very young team. Get rid of the "Jet fan" mentality and stick with them! :rocker:

I actually couldn't believe when this was happening.

You hate to play that 'spoiled fan' card but come on people, they can't tear through every team in the league.

Do people think Baltimore sucks?

I actually thought Brady flashed a glare at the crowd after one of those boos. When a team puts up a stinker against a team it should beat, I wouldn't boo but at least I can understand why a fan might do so.

In a game like this against a top defense, when the Pats were down no more than 10 and really didn't have an extended period of mistakes, it's ridiculous. I watched the Denver game yesterday and it is painfully clear how different those two venues are - and the Broncos lost and now have a 2-4 record, not 4-1.

Yea, that's just what it is, SPOILED fans, we are spoiled, we've had 10 years of good to great football here, but to boo a decision to take a knee @ half down by three is just wrong. Disagree if you like, but the Patriots do not deserve to be booed @ home after all they have done for us fans here.
I was very surprised as well.
Go figure

Well, to play the contrarian role, I'd argue that the Pats offense was sputtering throughout the 1st half; having the ball with 1min+ and the chance to put together a no huddle drive to get into FG range is not out of the question.
Brady is among the best in the league in his 2 minute drill (probably in the top 3 with Manning and Pervert Ben). Why not take a chance? They were getting the ball to start the 2nd half anyway. If you go down and get 3 before halftime and then score 7 to start the 2nd half...it changes everything.

Sure, the textbook thing to do is to take a knee at home for risk of an INT, TO, etc. But this is the GOAT TB...I'd take my chances on scoring and not a pick.

Now, I guess I should prepare for a :bricks:

To those fans who booed I say GOOD FOR YOU. Nice to see the "real" football fans make their presence felt in Foxborough.
Since when do the Patriots play conservative and scared??

They were too deep in their own territory to risk it. They were getting the ball back anyway. The wind was blowing. An INT and three or seven at that point would have been a back breaker after staying close despite what Brady called a bad first half. It was the right decision and those who booed don't understand the game. If thats' :bricks:, then I'm sorry, but you are wrong.

At least one time, they were booing the play selection, not the players, specifically at the end of the half. I don't see the big deal with that. Whether the Pats made the right decision or not, whether the fans understood that or not, who cares? People complaining about the play calling here after games are doing the same thing as booing. Just another way of showing their displeasure, and the only way to do it at a game is to boo

I was booing for a lot of reasons.. Dropped passes on 3rd down.. a few missed tackles.. And some of the play selections.. Its part of the benefits of being a season ticket holder for 20 years.. I cheer them when they do well and boo them when they aren't..

For sure the boos will make the hands of the receiver better. And BB for sure apreciates your boos, in the next game he ll call you to make the call .

I don't know where you got 1 minute+ but there were only about 30 seconds left for them to do anything at the half. And they were on their own 12. Not worth the risk for such a short amount of time and the booing was ridiculous When they were only down by 3.

As opposed to cheering harder when they aren't doing well in an effort to encourage them and show support?

Wow.....you suck as a fan.

You pinkhats are embarrassing. You really are.

Precisely. Only a moron would risk a turn over there. Totally unnecessary. An entire half of football lay ahead. Fans who can't tell this situation as different from being on your own 25 or more with a minute and a half left when the Pats typically turn it on need to follow something else.

While there should not have been boos, I understand it and agree that in the heat of the moment, it was disappointing to see the Pats not try to do anything at the end of the 1st half. The Ravens were stopped with over a minute left and we do nothing, holding a couple of time outs? In the end it turned out all right, but I was sort of booing at home; not the team, the decision. Let's face it folks, everyone wanted the crowd to be louder, and it was, and boos come with the territory.

Clearly fans have a right to boo, whether they pay $2 or $200 for their tickets. It's as old as "Gladiators vs. Lions," and probably older than that.

That said, I think that, when it comes to the NFL, booing anything other than a lack of effort or really poor play just indicates a lack of understanding of the game.

I don't think there's a fan in the world who wouldn't have booed the Pats performance against the Ravens this January; they didn't show up to play and they deserved everything they got and several players after the game said they deserved to be booed, including, I believe, Brady.

But booing the decision not to risk an INT or fumble at the end of the first half yesterday indicated frustration more than an understanding of the game. They were deep in their own territory; it was windy; despite what Brady has called a bad first half on offense, they were within three points; they were getting the ball back at the beginning of the second half. A fluke pick or fumble yielding a cheap six or three points to the Ravens at that point could have been a back-breaker.

There was over a minute left when they stopped the Ravens and they didn't know they were going to be on the 12. They intentionally let all the time run off the clock so that there were 30 seconds left by the time they took the field.

So, we're supposed to like it when the coaches just gives away the last 1:30 of a half, in a game where every point is clearly going to mean something?

I assume that happens to you at work too.
