It's believed he could miss at least one game.

Plus, wide receiver Malcon Floyd injured his hamstring and didn't return.

Never want to wish ill will upon any player (except Brett Favre), but I wouldn't be too sad to miss watching Antonio Gates play against us.

There are very few players on whom I would wish injury -- mainly Michael Vick -- but if an opposing player MUST be injured for a short span, let the game he misses be against us ...

Loosing their two main weapons would be a huge blow to them

Injuries are part of the game unfortunately. Were without the likes of Faulk, Bodden and are still finding a way to win. Even if they sign Jackson, I believe he has to sit 3 games, just like Marcus McNeil had to upon coming back to the team.

I really like our chances next week....Will it be easy? Probably not but we have everything going for us.....Gates and Floyd may miss the game....We have been able to stop the running game so Mathews doesn't scare me......They don't have the vaunted pass rush with Merriman and the Cromartie-less secondary.....I really think this COULD be a blowout win for the pats.....Now before people jump on my words, I didn't say it would be easy but it COULD be a blowout.....

Jackson could sign today, and it wouldn't make a difference for next Sunday, he has to sit for three weeks after signing a contract.

The scary thing is, I'm not sure if not having Kaeding is a loss or a gain.

Yeah I think bringing a guy in off the street over Kaeding only helps them. How has that guy kept his job so long?

Nice one, I bet they end up signing Shayne Graham. Yeah I'm pretty excited for this game but the good news for Gates is that this injury is unrelated to the toe he had surgery on.

They've played the Chiefs, Jaguars, Seahawks, Cardinals, Raiders and Rams.

If Gates and Floyd both don't play, I don't see how the pats could be underdogs. The game wouldn't be close.
