Quoth the Ravens D... Nevermore

The Ravens never cease to amaze me. Bunch of assclown idiots, and Ray Rice with an absolutely moronic penalty at a terrible time. They'll never learn and thus will never have what it takes. Suggs is an idiot, his words are meaningless. He'll probably never see the patriots of the 2009 playoffs ever again so he can enjoy that win for the rest of his career because it wont' happen like that again.

Actually, that was their fullback, McClain.

My mistake, sorry Rice :p

It's just amazing at how undisciplined that team is late in the game.

“He was trying to tell me how to bag a Hollywood actress,” Suggs said. “He said, ‘If you want to get a Hollywood actress, take my seminar on Saturday.’ " - that is just priceless. Very funny.

As for the rest of it, he is probably just a guy that hates to lose. Face it: Suggs is a beast. You'd love to have him on your team

Sorry but he's not a Patriot type player.

they are good team but when the lose its never their fault or an opponent. always something else ..like this from ray lewis

Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis on the game:

RL: "You can't change field position the way we did. The game was as close as it was going to get. We knew how tough it was going to be coming in here. We went back and forth and field positioni started getting more crucial. We came here last year, same thing, same type of result. We made penalties in the fourth quarter that hurt us. I don't think it is about Brady at all. Bottom line is, you don't cause those penalties, you don't change field position. You're talking about playing the New England Patriots, you're not talking about playing Tom Brady. Same thing happened last year. If we see them in the playoffs we will be ready again. I don't think they did anything different other than throw the passes they always throw. We are going home and then we are going to the bye week. It's going to be rough on Buffalo."

I'm just amazed they aren't blaming the refs this time. I swear that team has never legitimately lost a game in their eyes.

...and the horse you rode in on, Suggs & Lewis

Hey, at least he's not as bad as the Ravens fans on another football forum that are saying that they're still the best team in the NFL because it took the Patriots 73 minutes to beat them coming off a bye :lol2:

That's exactly what teams used to say after we beat them in 01 and 03. Not so much in 04, everyone knew we were pretty bleepin awesome by then. From Oakland to Pittsburgh to St.Louis to Tennessee to Indy. We've heard it all before.

Bingo! That's exactly what I was thinking. The postgame "How the hell did they beat us? We were the better team" quotes were a specialty during the Super Bowl years. Very encouraging sign.

Zbikowski: Ravens will roll Patriots in the play-offs.

Minus Moss, Brady still wears down Ravens - AFC East Blog - ESPN

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Baltimore Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski is a former prizefighter and looked like he'd just climbed into a ring. A black, hooded sweatshirt obscured his face while he meandered aimlessly in a corner of the Gillette Stadium visitors' locker room, talking out loud to nobody after playing the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Zbikowski muttered a run-on sentence about the Patriots having two weeks to prepare with a bye week and still barely beat the Ravens at home and needed their best performance to do it and just wait until the playoffs, when the Ravens will roll them again, just like they did last year in the same building and ...

That's what Tom Brady can do to his opponents, leave them talking to themselves after a game they thought they should've won but didn't.

I'm loving this victory.

The rest of the article is some same old Moss crap,
and a little talk about our three tiny white guys running around. :rocker:

Happy with a win, would rather not play them in the playoffs again.

Screw that, I WANT them in the playoffs again. It's time to shut these whiny little b!tches up.

Re: Zbikowski: Ravens will roll Patriots in the play-offs.

Actually, we played like complete crap on both offense and defense through three quarters. Having read the Ravens forums and what their players have been saying, it's almost like their in denial. This team did NOT play their best game. Brady misfired on a lot of throws and our offense shot themselves in the foot time and time again throughout the first half.

Complete denial. They can't admit that this defense, which has been blasted by pretty much everyone throughout the first quarter of the season, shut their asses down in the second half (and, more importantly, the fourth quarter). On top of that, Brady and the offense found their groove and, without any pressure from the Ravens, the Pats were able to pick them apart. They need to face facts, the better team today won. And no, I wouldn't mind playing them in the playoffs either.

All true IMO. The Pats were ripe for the picking today but the Ravens didn't seal the deal, hence the frustration. It echoes the 2007 game when they could have broken the streak but didn't. And it's true that the Ravens didn't make enough stops, they had some inopportune three and outs, and those penalties really hurt them. To me, not to belabor the obvious, that was a great, playoff atmosphere game with mental errors on both sides (hello there, AH), but the Pats had more answers: Woodhead and Branch, on a day when Welker and BJGE were controlled.

Bottom line: whether they're petulant, mentally soft nd undisciplined, or just unlucky, I don't really want to see these guys in the playoffs.

sigh...i actually like almost all of the raven's players and their team, but why must they always talk **** after each loss? Do they EVER lose because they didn't play a good game, or is it just some random factor (or ref) that caused them to lose?

Sheesh, man up, admit you lost to a better team (at least today) and move on.
