Hello My name is John. I have been a Pats fan for 33 years. I have suffered through the bad times and have cherrished the GREAT TIMES i.e. the BB era. and somewhat of the Parcels era.....

I hope i can add to as well as take away from this forum in a positive productive way. I have had some challenges the past few years of my life and It has made it difficult to follow sports of any kind..... I just thank god my life seems to be on an upswing at the momment..

I have recently moved my faimly to a nice spot here in the woods of maine, and have some great new neighbors.... They are dolphins fans but i try not to hold that against them too much cuz the have helped me alot in the recovery of my life..... It does help that Pat Chung kicked the dolphins azzes.... So i dont have to listen to any crap outta them yet......

I know this is kinda short and sweet but thats the way i like it sometimes. GO PATS AND LETS WIN ANOTHA ONE. I really feel with the dissarray the league is in right now we have as good a chance as anyone..

From one longtime Pats fan to another ....

Welcome,I'm glad your here, unlike a lot of the newer posters here you know what it was like to be a fan in the dark ages before Kraft, BB and TB. I don't know if i should call them the "dark ages" the team had some down years from time to time but still won more than they lost. Certainly more than the jets, SD, or Cardianals for example.

Some of those years were very dark.

Remember that year, what was it? 81? 82? where they went 2 fer after leading every single game at the end of the third quarter?

Rod Rust?

**** McPhereson?

Ron Meyer I liked. Berry took HIS team to the SB, lost it and subsequently ran it down the drain. Same way Chuckie did it in TB.(except chucky won)
