No surprise here

Well, although I think the report is crap at least as Casserly reported it, I wouldn't expect Brady to say anything but deny the incident.

So it's confirmed, Casserly belongs to the Tom Jackson school of reporting.

Brady also denied he was consulted ahead of time on the Moss trade. Uh huh!
Do you honestly believe Tom Brady would tell us if he and Moss had a scrum? Of course not.
Just call him Baby Belichick.

I agree, did we actually expect Brady to come out and say that they got into a huge argument. He will continue to stay professional.

I can't believe the Patriot fans who are buying Casserly's horsepucky.

You honestly believe Brady has a problem with beards? Don't you remember the playoff beard tradition? The Patriots used to have beards for the playoffs. Please!

it wasnt just about hair. I read that it started when Brady confronted Moss about his attitude, and from there it got stupid. lol. Either way, we fans should never believe everything we read ;)

While I really don't buy the hair portion at all, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some type of confrontation. I just really can't see them needing to be separated though.

Who knows. Let's just take a page out of Brady's book and move on already.

"Certainly not,” Brady said. “I'm a player on this team, just like all the other players. I talk a lot to the coaches and they talk to the players. They never come and say 'well what do you think about this?' We show up to work, and we do our job. I think that’s the best way to handle things as a player.

“I’ve become very emotional in the past about losing certain players and that’s affected me, which in turn has impacted the team. When you’re an older player on the team, and you've seen guys come and go ... to be level-headed and, not be unemotional, but to be maybe not surprised. You just go about your business and you try to put it behind you and move forward with the guys that you’ve got, because that’s what you really owe the team.”

I understand the team is very candid with what they tell the media but I really do not think they just outright lie about stuff like this. The last quote seems to support my feeling that Brady is more or less older and wiser which is why his response is far different from when Branch was traded.

And as he said, time to move on. Let the Tate era begin!

The fact that you could hear everyone in the set laughing when he said that says it all!

Anyone giving odds that Casserly's source was Borges? That would make a ton of sense... :D

Seriously! Not only that but why would Moss tell Brady to cut his hair when his is just as long if not longer?

none of you people "get it"...just wait until BelichickFan sees this...he straighten all of you stupid homers out. Crasserly is the greatest source of real Patriot info out there and is never wrong. I'm going on vacation for a while until this blows over. I couldn't take the savage rebukes for ever doubting "God Bless Our Casserly"...
