Okay, this was not a desperate move, it was just a bad decision and Bill has been prone to making those the past couple of years for some reason. I usually defend him when other pats fans are complaining about something he did (like the incident in the Colts game) but there is no way i can defend trading our best receiver for basically nothing. Moss is still one of, if not THE best WR in the league. I can make a strong case that he still is the best. But for some reason a large percentage of patriots fans have criticized Moss since day one. He has scored 50 TDs for our team during the past three years, consistently stretched the defenses to make welker's job easier and to allow our running game to actually do something positive. And now who do we have as a replacement? Brandon Tate. Yeah, I just don't think he is going to be able to stretch the defense and draw double coverage like Moss did. But half the Pats fans seem to be happy that Moss is gone. I've spent the past year defending Moss on a pats forum and now that the Randy haters got their wish, I'm guessing our offense will become as bad as our defense. We were already having problems due to the horrible playcalling by the offensive coordinator. If anyone needed to go, its him. We still have amazing people like Brady, Welker, Gronk and Hernandez but we just don't have any deep threat anymore. People may be happy now but I'm guessing reality will set in for everyone when we play the ravens in two weeks without Moss. :\
The only silver lining is that Moss gets another opportunity to shut Revis' big mouth. Make another one-handed catch on him, Randy.
