Better save your receipt unless you are keeping it as a memorabilia :)

Stuff like this is why I never buy a players jersey until they sign a long term contract

I own 2 Jerseys, an Adrian Peterson one and a Brady one. Both seem like solid investments 1 more than the other of course;)

Maybe it's just me but once a player leaves this team I can't wear his jersey anymore....doesn't seem right to me

The Vikings just called, they need you to sign up as a member there....hurry
For the last time, I will never leave the Pats unless something crazy happens( Brady getting traded)... Your Moss hating is terribly annoying

I am not hating moss but I think the team will do what they always do...move on to the next week and work with the players they have

I have seen players come and go on this team before you were ever born, this is a big trade but Seymour, branch, vrabel,,law and back into the early decades had some good players leave as well

Life goes on in NE with or without Randy and I am sure the coach would agree

I wish Randy all the luck in the world and it's apparent he wants to retire with the team that drafted him, can't really knock him for that

LMAO stop trying to treat me like a child. I don't care if anybody other than Brady gets traded. WHat I don't like is that your try to make Moss out to be a terrible player and a cancer which he is not

"Buy the rumor, sell the news"... wait, that's the stock market...

If he goes sooner, thanks for the memories, and good luck to the Vikes bouncing back. I could see him getting charged up "back home" in Minnesota, and God knows they need him. I could see us considering them motivated buyers right now (given the shape of their current receiving corps.) It's obvious Lord Favre can't "make it happen" without elite talent - that's something Brady could always do in the past. And the calculation may be that Moss was still right at his peak when he started in NE, but can't have much longer there now, if he's still there at all -- not in NE anyway. It might be that Randy could still have the physical talent but that he just has to move on to be a factor.

Or, it might be that rumors happen, or that someone is negotiating through rumor. Who knows.

What interested me is your quote above... really? Come on dude, drop the caveat, and join the real Pats fans that will doggedly root for the laundry no matter who's in it.

I'm serious. I live among Redskins fans... their owner is essentially a rolling stress-test for fans. There is no player they would leave over, no coach, no nothing. They are just Redskins fans...

Lots of us here are Pats fans the same way. Luckily we have a fantastic owner/coach/QB right now. One day, it's likely all 3 will be gone, and I'll be here, still a Pats fan. I was a Kiam Pats fan, I was an Eason Pats fan, I was a Carroll Pats fan.

Just a philosophy thing of course... I'm not lecturing anybody on how to "really" be a Pats fan, just saying that your condition (something crazy like Brady being traded) wouldn't be "the last straw" in most of our worlds... we remember the days when you had to have something akin to Stockholm Syndrome to be Pats fans. We didn't like it and we're glad we're not in that position anymore, but if you're not willing to pay dues like that, well, it's a different level. It just means you'll be gone one day, and the guys you're arguing with will still be here.

Doesn't really affect "standing" in a debate like this, it's just a thing

The first and last jersey I ever bought was Donte Stallworth #18 right before SB42. I won't be buying another jersey for myself this lifetime.

I bought Bledsoe in 1994, and lucked out for a while. I bought Milloy in the summer of 2003.

After that, I've bought either legend, retired, or both (Bruschi, Harrison, Brown, Welker?).

The Only way Brady would get traded is if the Patriots organization blows up... So I don't see how I'm a bad fan... I see people saying trade Brady and fire Belichick. I say I'm one of the better fans. I don't look at the worst of things. I believe Brady will retire a Patriot.

I am usually the one arguing every fan is a "good fan"... no matter how they got here...

I hear ya. What I am saying is, I can't say that. Not "I won't say that," I just can't. It doesn't matter what it means if they trade Brady (and I remember Montana in a Chiefs jersey too,) I'm just saying I can't root for another team. I know for a fact I'll sit there in the off-season when Brady's gone, watching the development of that year's Hoyer or Cassel or Rohan Davey or whatever... I'll be watching for the next "Bledsoe" pick after the next series of bums at QB... Seems a little unfair, really... you'll just convert over to whatever team has the big-league talent on board. "Hey that Sanchez is something special... and I can say that, I use to be a Pats fan..."

But to each his own, right?

I ll never leave the pats, ever Brady is traded to the Jets for a 7th I ll still being a patriot, but I can agree with you, this boards are getting ridiculous, Saturday Moss was the best WR in the game and now is and old and lazy WR with no skills only because its no longer a patriot

To me, he's the same guy he was before the trade rumor. He's still a good receiver and at times he is an elite receiver. I still have my doubts about how often you get "good" Randy vs. "bad" Randy in NE, especially for the duration of this season.

If he's in Minnesota, he'll have an excellent reason to go on a mission -- he'll be somewhere where he has a built-in fan base to make amends with, he'll be in a dome, he'll be playing w/Favre and trying to save his crumbling season.

I wish him luck, unless we play the Vikes. I don't think his career has to go *poof*. But he will be in the same category of other departed Pats - good bye and good luck.

Otherwise I'd be a Chiefs fan :p

I have had 3 NE Patriots Jerseys

I got them in different orders, BUT two of them were:

Maroney, and Moss

and both got traded away this season

care to guess whose the third one is?

I bought a Moss jersey a few years ago. It's the only one I've ever bought (for myself).
