This team needs an experienced CB, if for no other reason than the help teach the young guys how to get better. I SAY BRING BACK TY LAW!!!!!! WE NEED HIS ASS BACK HERE!!!

Why stop there? Let's bring back Mike Haynes too.

And while we're at it, bring back Corey Dillon, Tedy Bruschi, Rodney Harrison, Andre Tippett, John Hannah and Willie McGinest.

I always thought Raymond Clayborn would like a comeback

Well now you are just being ridiculous. Those guys are all retired.

And your point is? Bringing back Law is about as foolish an idea as I can think of.

Maybe Dante can coach him up to be our new right OG after Neal retires? :p

Dude? You forgot Antowain Smith. How insulting.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be totally against bringing back Law, as long as he knew his role. I'm talking one thing and one thing only: a big cb in goal line packages. Darius Butler obviously can't hold his own against the bigger wide receivers (case and point: Braylon Edwards), despite his excellent leaping skills. This team is hurting without Leigh Bodden in goal line sets. They tried Meriweather last week and it went terribly wrong (Spiller TD).

The truth is, getting someone physical like Ty Law really couldn't hurt. He could also be decent in run support. Again, we're strictly talking just a few snaps here or there. And lets not forget he has looked alright the last two years in New York and Denver.

Even Mike Reiss didn't discount the idea. I'm not saying "HEY LETS BRING BACK TY LAW I LOVE HIM HES EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED SB XLV CHAMPIONS." I'm simply saying, this team could use a physical, veteran presence at cornerback. Ty Law fits that bill to some extent. I'm sure there are others out there that can as well.

Will this FINALLY be the year law returns? Or will the browns come in and snatch him at the last second for $1 more. He should come return a pat. One pick away from all-time patriot record. I wonder if wilhite would give up his number.

At this point, Law would probably be an improvement over anyone else we can throw at nickelabck.

Lawyer Milloy is still playing for the Seahawks.

But maybe Ty's family has gotten bigger so he needs to come back.

I think it would be good to have a veteran there even it he is not getting much time on the field.

His ass would likely not fit through the door.

Good point. Also, I'm not sure that Ty is willing to play for a coach who is a "LIAR".
