I was proud for the kid, really cool to see him make an impact. Was rooting hard for him to get in again that second time he was near the endzone.

I'm telling you, I have a good feeling about this one. :D

Congratulations Danny Woodhead! :rocker:

This just in: Moss has just called Woodhead the "little stub guy."

Danny's great, did you see him on the 5th qtr? Love the kid. I think BB could eat peanuts off the top of the kid's head. He's great...........

""The linemen made great blocks; I did the easy part, which is just run it" Woodhead said when asked to describe the scoring run. "The linemen did great, and the receivers and the tight ends -- I mean, you can't ask for better blocking as a running back. All I did was try to do my job. "

Sounds like hes already bought into the Belichick system.

All of the RB's looked good today. It's fun to run when the linemen are actually able to block the guys in front of them for a full four quarters. But the little man can scamper though. Very elusive.

He was awesome in this game. I'd like to see if he's able to pick up the blitz like Faulk though. He's such a little guy, I don't know how he'd do it!

It was nice to see a RB wearing "39" who hits the hole, and no dancing...:bricks:

This little stub gets me very excited. He gives me a "danny".

Really impressive debut. I hope he can help fill that void left by Faulk. Anyone know how his hands are or his blocking for blitz pick-ups?

This kid sounds like he is a canuck...:)

It is real refreshing to hear athletes talk like this. I hope he has a great NFL career..

I'm happy for the guy. He was the only guy from Hard Knocks other than Mike Westoff that I actually liked.

My only concern is that his football career is going to get in the way of his mystery solving business with his friends and his talking dog:

On the postgame TV show here in the Boston TV marked, Steve Burton 6' 1" and Scott Zolak 6' 5" had Mighty Mouse in street clothes standing between them for an interview. Burton acted totally amazed that the little guy could be a football player. The kid does not look as solidly built as Faulk. Spouted Pats speak cool aid talk to all questions. Welker and Edelman must be psyched that they have someone they can look down on.

I'm jacked and pumped that we've got Wood and the JETs have ****.

He has very good hands, which is why the Jets kept him on last year and early this year to be used mainly as a receiver or receiving back. And he very rarely fumbles as either a back or a receiver.

As for his blocking, he has worked very hard on it and is improving all the time. Last year I saw him block big people very well that looked like they should just run through and kill him. I'm not saying he is a Kevin Falk, but he won't be scared of anybody.

We'll miss this guy in NY. He blew his knee out his rookie season but still made the team. Big heart, hard head.

I was sold on him last week after I read his profile on Wikipedia... I was jumping for joy after I saw him ran for the TD!
