This defense is flat out terrible. I have no idea if it's BB's schemes, the players or anything else, but there is no more denying the awfulness that is the 2010 Pats D. We have faced two terrible offenses back to back and made them look amazing. The Buffalo Bills have nothing on O and we needed two bad throws and ball control to slow them down. This D needs to be gutted or somebody new needs to be brought in to run this D.

Buffalo moved the ball at will. horrible.

All I saw was the secondary coming up to make the plays on the run. LB's were no where.

look at it this way, even a better D wouldnt have scored much more....the bills didnt punt too much today

if by worst you mean young and inexperienced...then i agree

I literally laughed out loud. My son came out of his room to ask me what I was laughing at.

I clicked this thread and said you know, nobody else should have to click this thread and at least not get a laugh.

OP is correct and for this thread to b moved by an admin is the biggest joke... Point of a thread is sometimes voice your displeasure....

do it in the post game thread. Your unoriginal ass opinion doesn't deserve its own thread.

Terrible. Meriweather was so far out of position on Spiller's TD. Chung should have played the receiver on Steve Johnson's TD where McCourty had been beaten deep.

Simply Awful.

Yes, the defense is pretty bad. The funny thing, though, about threads like these is that the same people that are now complaining in every post about how bad the defense is were the same people that couldn't wait to get rid of guys like Seymour, Bruschi, Vrabel, Harrison, etc. from 2006 on.

It looks pretty bad at times, I'll give you that one, but you have to consider the fact that the defensive corps we have right now is largely inexperienced and young as one of the above posters noted.

If you take all the defensive players listed on the roster right now the average age is about 24-25 years old. The team is going through a transition period and we just have to be patient.
