Saw on the Celticsblog that ESPN ran some type of contest of which NBA team, using its best players in it's history, would be the best. Of course, the winner was Chicago...................
Kind of funny, if you were to think to yourself who were the greatest players ever to play, the players mentioned in the Bulls greatest team would be mentioned waaaaaaaaaay down on the list (Dennis Rodman, for example).
How about using another method. As a kid, you must have had baseball cards and played the game where you select your team from a deck of baseball cards. Then, when done, compared them against the other kids who played. I wouldn't even take Jordan over Russell, but lets go to the second player. Bird or who......Pippen? Cousy vs.......McHale.......Hondo......What a freakin' joke.

It's ESPN, why bother. Chicago...

I remember when Robert Parish was playing for the Bulls in the last couple of years of his career. They asked him point blank, who would win a 7 gameseries between his 1980's Celtics power houses, and the 70 win Bulls era teams. He said, while a member of those Bulls teams mind you, "we (as in the Celtics he said) take it in 6". ;)

Well obviously, it's the 2010 Heat. :D:rocker:

Yea, I know. Still, it pisses me off that The sports network (like them or not) can put garbage out like this. This is an answer that that type of format does not work.
Just for fun, remember as a kid we played the baseball card game, where you picked players from a deck to put together a team.
Russell-Jordan
Bird- who? Rodman or Artis Gilmore? Were these guys even on the all-time 50 greatest?
Cousy-Norm Van Lier
McHale- Rodman or Artis
John Havlicek-
I thought we dismissed the argument that Pippen was better then Bird a long time ago. What' really funny, is Chicago leaves off one of thier all time greats in favor of Rodman or Artis (Chet Walker). Frankly, I think you could go to the Celtics second team and still beat this Bulls team. Chicago Bulls-Bullsheet.

The Celtics and Lakers have to be 1 & !a, everyone else.... who cares.

Yea, the Lakers line-up is pretty sick. I think their second team beats the Bulls also.

Philly: Wilt, Dr.J, Iverson, Bobby Jones, Doug Collins. Its not Celtics or the Lakers, but they kick Chicago's ass.
