AHern actually made Tebow seem better than he really was, as literally anything thrown near him was scooped up. The dude is a beast, Dallas Clark part 2.

IIRC Tebow won the Heisman without Hernandez.

Tebow is collecting splinters on the bench in Denver.
He might turn out to be a good QB but his time isn't here yet and might not be for a long time.
Hernandez already has a 100 yard receiving game and plenty of upside to become better.
As long as he continues improving on his weaknesses, he's going to be a real weapon for the Pats offense.

That's his sig.

Hernandez is awesome. I remember how nervous I was when the Jets drafted Keller, and he's proven to be a difficult match up. I think Hernandez brings us that same kind of x factor on the field. If he leads the team in receiving the entire year, he could end up in ROY discussions.

ESPN's Mike Reiss thinks Aaron Hernandez's playing time will increase now that Kevin Faulk (knee) is out for the season.
So far, Hernandez has played 67 of 123 offensive snaps. The rookie tight end is so versatile that he can line up detached from the formation or even in the backfield. Tom Brady is in the market for a third-down security blanket with Faulk down, and Hernandez's arrow is pointing up. He's a TE2 with upside.

That ratio needs hernandez in the mix at least 20 more snaps.

I was happy to see both of our tight ends used more in the passing game. I get it that Gronk is an excellent blocker. But that man is a 6'7" athletic BEAST. He needs to be allowed to run routes more than he was last week.

Yes Gronk is a beast and a Great Sequoia Tree......


He doesn't have Hernandez's speed and the ability to shake and bake.
