He obviously hasn't, but seems to have been watching too much :)

YouTube - The Rolando Bottom

Thought this would make a different talking point ;)

Re: OT: McClain Enters WWE!

whats WWE?

I'd be too scared to throw a flag if I was standing within 20 feet of someone who can throw a grown man with pads on to the ground like a little girl.

It may look good on the highlight reels, but that was a stupid penalty to make. Hopefully he will continue to make stupid mistakes since the Raiders barely got by the Rams and the Pats have a first round pick on the line.

I would trade Mayo-Mistake and a second round pick to Oakland for McClain.
How about Oaklands first round pick. Although i still believe Mayo has a great deal of talent just not as much as McClain

I thought McClain would be ROTY....I guess being a Raider eliminates that possibility

sick as can be, how is that a flag? I swear the NFL gets softer every year:D.

Mayo and a first or second rounder for another Inside Linebacker?

Talk about moronic.

If it was Brandon Meriweather and a first for Eric Berry, that I would listen to

The rules clearly state you cannot lift a player off his feet and slam him into the ground. That is a textbook personal foul.

It may be but it shouldn't be, maybe im just old school :). If you are strong enough to do that to another man, you shouldn't be flagged IMO.

If someone did it to Brady and ended his season would you feel the same way? I don't have any problem with the rule in this case. That is excessive and could get a player hurt. I have problems with some of the hard hits considered personal fouls these days though.

You shouldn't be able to do it to a qb, but WR/RB...fair game players get hurt in the NFL on less than that, see Kevin Kolb and Brady injuries. I just think that the NFL has really gone out of its way to protect some of the players. Defenseless receivers and such but come on, that was pretty impressive.

That's a tackle that's used pretty much exclusively to injure people. It is never the easiest or most effective way to bring down a ballcarrier, just the easiest way to hurt him. That's why it's illegal.

While the ref announced the penalty, it seemed he was celebrating it!

Great... another douche in the league ;)

That's classless, gratuitous and frankly, a low blow considering the size difference between the two players. If i were the head coach of the Rams, I would have sent my biggest OL guy after him the next play and had him slam him the same way. That's a bull**** move right there.

Lets wait until he meets Gronk! :D

What do you expect playing under a coach who sparked his assistant out?
