Simple as that, if Brady has a good day the Patriots will have opportunities to win. If he doesn't play at a high level they will lose. Gone are the days where he could have a 17-28 day for 180 yards and 1 TD and still pickup a win.

I can only image how great he could be if they had a running game ...

Turnovers are a killer, whether he throws for 350 or 150. The two INTs and a fumble certainly played a big role yesterday.

off topic but could someone please remind Pat Chung how to wrap up and tackle instead of trying to lay a big hit on people?

Your point is well taken, but how many wins does Brady have when he turns it over 3 times in a game (never mind in 1 half).

What was really a gut-punch was watching Peyton light up the Giants with perfect execution of his offense later that night. I know Brady has his bad days, but they need to start executing in the 2nd half of games (or betting game planning if that's the problem) if they have any hopes of another championship.

True but when you're running game is absent you become pretty one dimensional and predictable. Need to find the backs out of the backfield more and screens if they can't run between tackles.

The absence of a running game has put a lot of weight on Brady's shoulders. But it is more complicated than just the number of yards. They need to be able to make a 3rd and 2 on the ground. Would love to see the stats on the number of productive 3rd down rushes. Regrettably, without Mankins they are worse than last year in this respect.
