Fellow Pats fans: chill out

Chill out, Ryan.

(It's disappointing that so many fellow Pats fans are doo*hbags.)

29 posts ... let me guess ... go on your own board troll.

When the schedule was announced I saw the Pats opening against two playoff teams from 2009, one at home and one on the road. I hoped for 2-0, feared for 0-2, and expected 1-1.

There was probably more optimism than what was merited a week ago, and over the next 48 hours there will surely be more pessimism than what is deserved as well. Yeah, of course we all wanted the Pats to beat the Jets, but after all is said and done the two teams are both 1-1 with 14 games to go. It's a loss - there will probably be about four or five more this year - so hopefully the players and coaches will learn from it, make corrections, and quickly move on.

With any luck, fans will do the same.

Yeah, I love how nobody can make a prediction unless it's on this board. Fantasy land, man. Fantasy land.
You could link to where else you made it. There is a prediction thread on this board. You have made numerous posts.
If you are unwilling to state what you predict, you are a hypocrit for calling someone else out for theirs.

I'm surprised you actually bother to make predictions each week. I guess the big drama is when you pick the Pats to win by one TD instead of three.

But yeah, I'll be making them from now on big guy. Bank on that. :D

Yeah, whatever.

No one is "fickle" as you put it.

This is a messageboard, a forum. What you are reading are fans voicing their displeasure, and rightfully so. It's not fickle at all, its real fans saying real things, with real and honest opinions. Real fans come to messageboards like these,to discuss and to vent, while the bandwagon fans are out being what THEY are "fickle" bandwagon fans.

Today's game was a disgrace on the part of the coaching staff, and when the coaching staff screws up, as we have now seen in second halves of games for a year plus, then the players, those that rely on the coaches for giving them the tools to win - when the coaches fail, the players fail.

It's a pretty simple formula. When teachers fail, students fail. When parents fail, their kids fail, when coaches fail, players fail.

And that is exactly what happened today. And, those that are here venting are not fickle. They, including me, saw an event today that did not have to be.... and we are pissed, because we are real and true fans.....we care.

It's cute and underhanded that you several times tried to imply that I am a bandwagon fan because I am not freaking out about the loss today... True fans, you may be. But logical? Nope. Some of you get too high with a win and too low with a loss. It's just illogical....Just because I don't agree with saying the world is over after a loss does not mean that I am a homer or not a good fan. Only a bandwagon fan or an idiot would even suggest that. It's not a contest of fandom like some of you like to believe sometimes....

I made this thread because I think fans need to try to keep a more even keel, so to speak...It's one loss. Let's see what our favorite team is made of and how they react to this loss...This is a different team than last year.

It's suprising and pathetic how much the term "homer" gets tossed around here. And it's lame how people try to compare fandom around here. I'm a real fan, don't question it again.

Strong e-thuggery as usual. Keep using patsfan.com as a catalyst to talk sh't to people. Hopefully there will come a point soon where you no longer feel it necessary to do so.

Your mom makes you eat that, huh?

so do you have anything intelligent to say or just do the thing that are specificlly banned on the site
