Butler is GARBAGE

I don't think they've thrown more than 2 or 3 passes towards anyone other than him and now two PI interference calls this drive? I hope this isn't a portent of things to come.

Stunned and Disgusted

I can't watch the rest of this. I'm just disgusted in our team's performance today. The worst 2nd half of football I've seen in awhile. And no, I'm not a "the sky's falling" kind of guy, or a bandwagoner, and I know this team is capable of great things... but right now they don't deserve my support, at least for the rest of the night.

Lost and Found

I make this post with a heavy heart. The Pats lost something very special today and found something very awful. The new, shiny, exciting 2010 Patriots offense has been lost. Worse than that the Patriots found the stale, boring, painful 2009 offense. This performance has little to do with the Jets defense and sits squarely on the shoulders of the playcalling. Painful.

That strip sack was a fitting end to this disgusting unspired half of what we are forced to call Patriot football.

Patriots beat the Bengals.
Bengals beat the Ravens.
Ravens beat the Jets.
Jets beat the Patriots.

Just typical NFL parity, not the end of the world.

I thought parity was dead? I agree though. Week 2 sux.

Looks like last year when the offense sputtered in the third quarter. Brady missed many throws in this game. And kept trying to force it to Moss. What's up with ghostkowsi? Missing that early field goal didn't help.

That said, the Pats have given the Jets all the ammo they need to claim that they will go 15-1 and win the SB...

Thats fine with me. The more ammo they get, the more chance they shoot them selves in the foot....or leg....

Why is it that BB has a hard time finding good db's. he has missed on every one he has drafted so far

What we learned today

1. Darius Butler needs to be replaced. Other than the problems with him, our defense isn't bad and they will get better.

2. They were throwing too many long passes instead of getting Welker into the game in the second half.

3. Much like Brady, I'm a little annoyed by a lot of our fans. Pats fans only seem to be fans when we're ahead by 20 points. Whenever people make mistakes, we start hearing, "Brady sucks, Moss sucks, the defense/offense sucks, Bill sucks, etc...." Its embarrassing.

4. Tomlinson is still a great RB. The problem was obviously SD's offensive line.

We didn't execute on either side of the ball starting with the field goal the Pats allowed at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Seems like we're able to find one corner a year who can slot into the vacated Hobbs role.

They left points on the field during the first half and it cost them.The second half is the worst half of football Brady has played in along time. He will get better and win a lot of games for the Patriots.I am waiting for people to start blaming Brady's hair.LOL!

The Jets backed it up tonight. Sanchez really exposed the D for what it is.
