Im ready to go!

...that has nothing to do with what were talking about...

49ers should hire a motivational speaker instead. because that is all this guy does.

This is exactly how NOT to do an interview. Now even more attention is drawn to the issue than before. Belichick >>>> Singletary.

Singletary has always been a little off. I haven't forgotten when he was a player during that strike season. He was threatening fans who crossed the picket line. Like Red said, I'll forgive, but I'll never forget.

i might watch this game just for the postgame presser

If only BB did something similar, I bet none in the media would have bothered about it :D

I am impressed with the interviewer (Dennis O'Donnell?) maintaining his calm without getting irked.

Thanks a lot for finding and posting!

If I were the owner of the 49'ers, I think I'd be worried that my HC was wound way too tight and having trouble dealing with the stresses of his job.

Yeah....hiring meathead psychopaths to be your head coach rarely pans out

......paging Dr. Melfi....paging Dr. Melfi......

Singletary needs a shrink NOW!

he was actually trying to help out singletary but he wouldnt get it.

Singletary is top of my list to be fired real soon.

Guy just panics too much, he might be a great at getting teams ready but he is just a problem on the sidelines on gameday.

the 49ers are still paying for the 2005 draft for takeing Smith, over Aaron Rodgers, who is a true star

I know. The more he didn't defend himself against Singletary's ridiculousness, the worse Singletary looked.

I wonder if we could trade Borges and Felger straight up for O'Donnell?

I'd be for that tr ade...I'd be for him taking over for Burton on All Access.

Regarding the interview frankly he tried framing the questions to ask about the game as Singletary wanted and Singletary simply took any question about the offense in the upcoming game to be a question about his coach. No matter how the question was framed he went back to his default of not talking about the article and not not talking about his coach even when the questions were about the line, Smith, preparing for the game etc. it was the same default.

Singletary is starting to warm up the hot seat for himself...hopefully for his own sake he can get out while he still can and find a decent DC job somewhere and salvage his career because he is in way over his head as a head coach.

iam not sure he can be a good DC either. Was he ever a DC before ?dont think so. he was asst head coach and LB coach in SF.Frankly his name has got him this position.
SF is suffering from the curse of mike martz. all these wannabe coaches like rod marinelli in detriot and now singletary ,felt martz didnt run the ball enough and they got rid of him . Lions suffered their infamous fate and now singletary will suffer too.

Its amazing how so many head coaches say the same thing "we want to run the ball and play great defense" without realizing that the other team can actually stop those two once in a while.

The media is going to eat that man alive. He may not make it to the "fired" stage. He looks to me like someone who's going to quit.

His style is certainly very anti-BB but you've gotta give him a chance to find a real QB before you can judge him. You could fuse BB, Chuck Noll and Bill Walsh together and they would struggle to reach the playoffs with Alex Smith.

And regardless of what 49er fans may say the answer isn't Nate Davies

Been on my youknowwhat list ever since crushing the Pats in that SB

As some other poster suggested, maybe bring him (the interviewer) to Boston? :)

But wait...he better cover us from afar because the local media is so contaminated that he will change within a few months. :(
