Bruschi chops up Sanchez

Not open for further replies.
Summary:

Tedy: Mark Sanchez really sucks.
Rexy: I wish Tedy played for the Jets to make up for how much Sanchez sucks.

If this guy has any pride he will come up with a great game. Bad timing for the Patriots.I think the Jets are a good team. The Ravens have the best defense in football.

Rex "This guy is a competitor and I think Bruschi would have loved to play with him."

Are you freakin kidding me? Speaking of competitors, leadership and winning and you immideately think of Bruschi playing with his offensive counterpart #12. Rex Ryan lives in Bizarro universe.

He has to justify trading up for a spaz to the simple folk of NYC. They still haven't conned on to the fact that baseball is the only sport where you can effectively buy a championship.

Tedy and Rex didn't actually contradict each other.

Brief summary of what the two said.

Tedy: During games - Sanchez show leadership when the team is winning, but falls apart when the team is losing during games.

Rex: He also shows leadership during practices.

******

Combined: Mark does fine when there is no pressure to win a game and sucks when there is.

For anybody that clicked on the link, I wouldn't read Florio's transcript. Click on the ESPN Boston link that he offers. Much more informative and entertaining read.

I really admire Tedy's insight & candor. Too bad he's wasted at that sewage dump in Bristol.

I do wish, however, that he had saved those "tank" comments for after the game. No need to give bulletin-board material to a team already eager to avenge last week's loss.

What no one brings up is sure, the Jets offense looked putrid last week but was that the result of a ragged Sanchez and the Jets offense?....or are the Ravens defense really that damn good?

If the Jets offense played like that against the Lions,Rams or Raiders then I would say its a serious issue in NY bu the fact they played one of the,if not the best defense in the NFL can make an average offense look even worse.

I remember back in the mid 80s when the Bears made some teams offenses look really bad when in fact they only played bad vs. Chicago because the Bears D was that damn good, the Bears made some average offenses look horrid those years.

Meanwhile, the QB chosen with the 17th pick the Jets threw in to move up and get Sanchez is coming along:

Josh Freeman growing up before our eyes - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN

In a sign that perhaps he's seeing the field better or that he is assuming more of a leadership role, Freeman, who might have only changed four calls at the line last season, made a whole bunch of checks in the Cleveland game.

“He kept putting us in position to make plays,’’ Stroughter said.

I think it's WAAAAAY to early to say anything about Freeman considering he played against the Browns.

He's played other teams, too, including last year's Pats, and he looked pretty good then, for a rookie.

I'm not putting Freeman in Canton, but so far his body of work holds up pretty well against Sanchez's, IMO. And I think that trade will always lead to comparisons.

Meanwhile, we seem to have a few threads here about Sanchez after a terrible game against a very good D.

Sanchez sucks
