and WEEI just reported that the Jets D coordinator said that they would cover Welker by committee. That team is just crazy. Plain and simple. They are just different. They do things differently. Nothing wrong with it. But it does leave me a little confused sometimes.
this has been the most entertaining week in recent memory... its like watching a trainwreck in slow motion... and the train is full of douchebags.
Because the Jets are the Anna Nicole Smith of the National Football League.
I'm still trying to figure out why at any point during the offseason any one thought this was going to be a good team??? :confused2:
Drug Overdosed ex porn star?
people saw the signings and the "maturation process of mark sanchez" ESPN's favorite phrase for any new or old QB who still sucks.
they still could be. long way to go .pats started 0-2 in 2001 as well and a 31-0 shellacking in 2003.
Not to go off on a rant, but if anyone at ESPN took the time to look up QB's rookie stats they would see that QB's almost always show exactly what they will be their rookie season. And he was terrible.
Understood, but this isn't the 2001 or 2003 Patriots. Their coaching staff said it themselves they have no leaders! Not to mention this Jets team has zero character or mental toughness on offense.

I'm sorry. You're right. That was mean of me to denigrate Ms. Smith by comparing her to that train wreck of a team.
not questioning you but what were manning's stats in the rookie season ? anyone have that info ?would be interesting too look.

Because they're the Jets... and they're from New York. The hype around this team every season is ridiculous. This year it was especially ridiculous because they somehow stumbled into the AFC Championship last season.
