Sloppy Jets go back to "grade school"

and WEEI just reported that the Jets D coordinator said that they would cover Welker by committee. That team is just crazy. Plain and simple. They are just different. They do things differently. Nothing wrong with it. But it does leave me a little confused sometimes.

I don't know maybe I'm reaching here, but I could see Rex telling them to talk to reporters and tell them they had a bad practice even if they didn't. Maybe thinking it'll catch the pats by surprise? (which it won't)

He could also be telling the truth and he want to out it out there now so they have an excuse if they lose?!?! This guy is a loose cannon, who knows what he's thinking.

well..personally thats nothing different than what bb says with "team defense". its more stupid to say x guy would cover welker ,not that it would be necessarily true.

I'm still trying to figure out why at any point during the offseason any one thought this was going to be a good team??? :confused2:

this has been the most entertaining week in recent memory... its like watching a trainwreck in slow motion... and the train is full of douchebags.

it WILL be entertaining only if the pats win.

My favorite part :

As a result, the practice lasted about 10 minutes longer than usual
.

Wow! A true indication of just how serious Fat Rex is about this, because the extra 10 minutes cut significntly into his [g------] snack time.

Whew - what a slave driver!

people saw the signings and the "maturation process of mark sanchez" ESPN's favorite phrase for any new or old QB who still sucks.
they still could be. long way to go .pats started 0-2 in 2001 as well and a 31-0 shellacking in 2003.

Drug Overdosed ex porn star?

I'm sorry. You're right. That was mean of me to denigrate Ms. Smith by comparing her to that train wreck of a team.

Not to go off on a rant, but if anyone at ESPN took the time to look up QB's rookie stats they would see that QB's almost always show exactly what they will be their rookie season. And he was terrible.

Understood, but this isn't the 2001 or 2003 Patriots. Their coaching staff said it themselves they have no leaders! Not to mention this Jets team has zero character or mental toughness on offense.

not questioning you but what were manning's stats in the rookie season ? anyone have that info ?would be interesting too look.

Well if the Jest keep this up, it may be where Sexy Rexy is going next....:eek::eek:

Ryan talked and talked, and talked. some more about how no one could defeat them. The team listen to the point i think they actually believed it to the point that they think they just have to throw their hats on the filed and they'll win.

It Don't work that way BoyZ.

Code:
NAME ATT	COMP	PCT	YDS	AVG	YDS/G	LONG	TD	TD%	INT	INT%	SACK	YDSL	RATE
Peyton Manning	575	326	56.7	3739	6.5	0.0	78	26	4.5	28	4.9	22	109	71.2

Notably, Manning completed 56.7% of his passes for 26 TD and 28 INT in 1998. The Colts went 3-13.

I have no idea if you can tease out exactly how good he would end up being. Maybe somebody who saw him play back then would be able to chime in and say if they saw the future greatness of Manning.

Because they're the Jets... and they're from New York. The hype around this team every season is ridiculous. This year it was especially ridiculous because they somehow stumbled into the AFC Championship last season.

Then they ended up on a reality TV show called Hard Knocks....where they were the laughing stock of the NFL....

Lets get a g** damn snack...
