Mark Sanchez: Jets' offense to lift off

I love this guy.

Sanchez thinks the Jets are ready to soar and convert at least two third downs vs. the Pats. He went a little crazy and predicted that he will complete a pass for over 13 yards this Sunday, but he might be doing a little trash talk.

I swear the guy has the guy just doesn't get it. His false bravado doesn't hide the fact he is playing like a scared schoolgirl on the field.

This is exactly why the Jets offense is not going to "lift of" or "break out." Focus on making some plays first, rather than promising fireworks.

To be fair, anything except interceptions is up from their last performance :)

If Flacco was confused by Pats Defense....what makes him think HE won't be??

Sanchez will rely heavily on the his RB's to bail his A** out so he doesn't have to win the game on his own.

BB knows the Jets are a run first team. Load the box and dare him to pass....

Poor Off the Mark Sanchez.

I like this part.................

"We'll have games where we throw for over 300 yards," he said. "I know it. I'm confident in it."

The Jets' last 300-yard passing day was Jan. 1, 2007, when Chad Pennington threw for 300 in a playoff loss to the Patriots. That means they've gone 36 straight games without a 300-yard performance, counting the postseason.

"We'll have games where we throw for over 300 yards."

Baby steps there, Marky. Get a 100 yard game this year, then worry about 300.

Or here's a novel idea, why don't you worry less about how many passing yards you're putting up, and more about converting first downs and winning football games.

Don't listen to him, Sanchise! Focus on yards!

Why does this guy keep talking??

With Sanchez, "breakout" most likely means a recurrence of his acne.

Mark Sanchez: New York Jets offense ready for breakout vs. New England Patriots - ESPN New York

"We're ready to have a breakout game," the quarterback said later at his locker, demonstrating some Rex Ryan-esque bravado. "I think [there is] no better week to do it. We'll get a win in our new stadium and get things rolling again."

yea, a break out baby, Sanchez wil have 123 yds passing

......he would complete some long passes too, two whole 30yd completions, just to the defenders instead

haha

Mark Sanchez will have a 300-yard passing game...... with the Toronto Argonauts.

He is starting to become like a cartoon now... it's almost like everyone is saying "Could you IMAGINE if Sanchez said this!" and bam, it turns out he really is this stupid. He reminds me of the exaggerated football jock in one of those awful teen coming-of-age flicks, some ****y, self-entitled jerk who progressively gets worse until he gets punched out by a little geek on prom night.

I can already see the 60 minutes segment four years from now "Where are they now?" as Sanchez laments his fall from the top, pointing to his immaturity, huge expectations, and wild lifestyle, while begging for a fresh start with the Buffalo Bills.

Strange, I never saw Sanchize as actually having any kind of self-confidence.

This kid was born for politics. Just keep saying stuff whether it has a basis in reality or not. I can just see the title for NFL films:

WAG THE DOG
The Story of the 2010 NYJ
and how Woody sold 60,000psls

Exactly right, and that RB check down which is his best and favorite pass so far

That is an excellent stat. In related news, the Hindenburg did get up in the air for a bit...
