F me
Living in va got watch the bs redskins game
i had direct tv but moved and lost it
does comcast have a nfl package?

Heading to the local Wild Wings here...

Once again, SUnday Ticket saves me, I live in that little bitty green area which will enjoy the Jacksonville game, while I'm watching the Pats humilate the Jests on my big screen!!!!

This sucks...Anyone on here that lives in Maryland heading anywhere or doing anything for the game? If not I will probably head to Dave and Buster's at Arundel Mills mall...

I've never been there, but plan on making the drive from Hershey to Baltimore this year if a Pats game isn't on the national broadcast:

If you live within a reasonable drive of either Alexandria or VA Beach, then try these places:
Murphys Fans - Home

I've been to the Murphy's in Alexandria, and it's like watching a game from a pub in Boston - it's that good.

Are Fox and CBS both showing a 1pm and 4pm game throughout the year?
Yes. The only time that's not the case is when CBS is broadcasting some big tennis match (US Open, I think?) as they did last week.

Both broadcast at least one early and at least one late game each week to insure they get to air at least one game in every market every week, regardless of blackout rules, as well as the rule that when a team does sell out and is playing at home, there can be no other game on TV.

In some ways its even better in that its a gathering of strangers in a strange land.

Screw California... I mean really the ******* Chargers Jags game? That's gonna be riveting.
I'm surprised so much of CA got the Chargers game. Obviously it's going to be shown in SoCal, but I figured the rest of the state would get the Pats-Jets rather than the SD game.

Anyone else notice that Detroit is getting the Chicago game instead of the Lions? Can't catch a break in that town, I guess.
I think it is because the Lions are treating games as being blacked out, until they do sell out. Looks like that blackout may be lifted though. As of yesterday they only have about 3,000 tickets left to sell.

Also, speaking of blackouts, those of you in CA should keep an eye on the Chargers' ticket sales. They still have to sell about 8,000 tickets to avoid a blackout, and after last week's performance that may not happen. If they don't sell out I would assume the Pats game will be on instead.

I hate being in California. Guess I'll be spending the entire game watching a crappy feed online and praying it doesnt go out.

Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing... We end up with the worst games sometimes

I hope the Chargers get blacked out, I really do.

Chargers game officially blacked out. Does that mean us California fans will get the Pats?

Great. Friggin' Redskins.

Luckily I live in Alexandria so I can go to Murphy's and eat their crappy bar food.

Edit: According to the506 map, Los Angeles county is now showing the Pats from the looks of it. Oddly enough, the map also says that San Diego is getting Pats/Jets instead of the Chargers. I think there must be a large contingent of Pats fans in LA, because we get the Pats quite a bit. I know we're always encouraged to write to the affiliate and complain everytime the Pats are playing a good game and we get stuck with some crap matchup, so maybe it works.

No problem with it, just seems weird.

I never actually been to New England, born and raised in Southern California. Haven't had the opportunity or the reason to go back east till this fall, where I'm making my first pilgrimage to the Razor for the GB@NE game :rocker:

I'm not saying it's applicable to anyone who has posted in this thread, but it's worth mentioning that a lot of non-New-Englanders who cheer for the Pats are homosexuals who are into Brady. In fact, he has the biggest homosexual fan base in the NFL, AFAIK.

Which is great! We're all fans here! :)

Go Pats! :rocker:

:( If I had been staying home this weekend, I would be getting it. But I'm leaving tomorrow to be doing some traveling and will be saddled with having to go to a bar with friends to watch the game.
