Moss to Revis: "You've got 60 minutes of this slouch"

60 minutes plus another 30 minutes of Felger agreeing with his statement.

So who covers Edelman? Or the 3-headed monster TE corps?

Exactly. We present a huge match-up nightmare for the Jets. Welker alone isa headache for them. Add in Tate, Edelman (if healthy) and the TE's in the short passing game as well as Faulk killing it in the flats. I don't see any way we don't win this game. I don't think it's going to be a monstrous blowout like some are predicting, but it should be a solid victory.

I would be shocked if Revis wasn't given safety help over the top on Sunday. With that, I think Moss is taken out of the game. Revis is tough enough to have a good day on by yourself as it is. With safety help, it's going to be impossible. In this case, we have enough weapons to hurt the Jets even without Moss. Tate is a favorable match-up against Cromartie and Welker should absolutely abuse Wilson.

I would not be surprised if the Jets mixed it up and put Revis on Welker in the slot, and put Crapartie on Moss with S help over the top.

Moss + Cromartie covering = Big YAC

Thank You Revis, for channeling the bankrupt Moss for this game. This will be his contract game, dummy! If he beats you, who can't he beat, in the owner's eyes? He wants to stay a Pat! What better game than this to prove your worth?

If I'm Moss, I'm asking for the ball every GD time.

As bad as Cromartie played last night, hes had some pretty decent games covering Moss if I remember correctly. Could be wrong though....

On matching up with star Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis this Sunday, and his reaction to Revis calling him a "slouch" during an offseason interview:

Moss: "Aw, man, words don't really hurt me. I guess he's entitled to say what he wants to say, but then again, we're coming to the Meadowlands on Sunday, so you've got 60 minutes of this slouch, so I don't really get into the trash-talking, but if what he called me was a slouch, I guess the slouch will be there to see you on Sunday."

Go get him Randy!

The Jets will try to knock Brady out of the game. This is the game for Kevin Faulk on quick hitters and the possession game to jump out to a lead and let the Jets try to figure out how to score. Tom will be ready.

Bank it right now......... Randy Moss will retire a NE Patriot. BB loves this kind of a player.

Kyle Wilson looked awful on MNF. So I think the Pats will abuse their weak link instead of running their heads into a wall just to prove a point. If Moss gets open, Brady will definitely take his shots downfield though.

I don't know about that. If they get up quick, look out. Brady does take me as someone who does hold a grudge. I can definately see him trying to vindicate Moss in a big way.

I think he'll end his career as a Patriot, but I think he'll retire as a Viking.

... why? He doesn't particularly like the Vikings, the new ownership ran him out of town.

I HOPE he ends his career as a Patriot.

He had his best season here....why would he retire a Viking?

He's had close to 50 Td's in a three year peiod. hopefully another 10-15 (ok more) this year.

If he stays for 2/3 years afterwards and adds another 20-25 and gets himself a ring the man retires a patriot.

Dunno how flexible Rex is or if Revis, who runs the franchise, insists he 'has' to be the guy to cover Moss, but were I the Jets I'd consider puting tall Cromartie on Moss and quicker Revis on Welker with rookie Wilson on Tate/Edelperson. Remember with the Jets well executed blitz philosophy, Brady will have a diffucult time geting the time to throw long. The Pats TEs will still eat them up though.

To me, because we have TFB, it really all starts with protection. I mean we all saw the game last Sunday.

TFB is back, give him time and he WILL find Moss & Co.

We need continued stellar play from the O-line. If that happens I am predicting at least a 2 TD game from the slouch...I am pulling for him big time this week...

Cromartie looked terrible in the slot, so Moss on one side, Edelman and Welker in the slot against Cromartie and Wilson. Don't forget the guys that thought we should draft Wilson over McCourty.

From what I watched of the game....Didn't get much of a bead on Wilson, )wasn't he the one that was called for a DPI on 3rd and 28?) but Baltimore went right after Cromartie (even after the interception which was a poor pass to begin with) and Cromartie was being badly abused.

I'm still not sure if Baltimore offense was just out of sync but I have never been very impressed with Flacco to begin with. He threw some nice passes but there were a LOT of bad decisions/poor throws in that game.

I know Rex will send the house after Brady but Moss, Welker, Edelman (hopefully activated) and Gronk and Hernandez are all able to break short passes into long gains.
