Mike Pereira Official Review Segment taken over by 3 stooges from Comp Committee

Wow. You gotta be kidding me.

No potential conflict of interest there...

On the Flip side Pereira joined the Fox broadcast team and is now advising the analysts on what he thinks when a play is reviewed. There was a play challenged in the Philly Packer game and the Analysts explained Pereira's role and gave his correct assesment on the challenge. This is IMO is big for Fox as most of the analysts on any of the stations seemed to struggle when it came to perdicting the outcome of challenges and more importantly explaining them to the viewers.

Unreal. Though I have to think the more Polian speaks in public the worse his image gets.

This WAS one of my favorite things to watch on NFL network I wish they had got someone similar to Pereira like a former ref.

What's the difference? Did Pereira ever disagree with a call anyway? Maybe occasionally on a narrow issue in a non-important circumstance, but on a game-affecting big call, he always backed up the refs. I presume it will be the same. The segment ought to be called "league propaganda designed to promote favorable perception of the product that makes us billions." It doesn't matter who does it.

The cool thing about Pereira during the games now is that he has to take a position in review circumstances before the ref on the field announces his ruling. I think in most non-review situations, Pereira will just defend the call.

Maybe this will draw attention to WTF are these MOFOs doing influencing the refs in the first place?

I doubt it...

Rich McKay (the president of the Falcons in name only because he couldn't land another job after the Vick disaster), Polian and Fisher...

I'm no Kraft basher but this pisses me off year after year. He needs to get a Patriots ass on this committee or at least get Polian and Fisher (no BB lover) off.

Preposterous...only word I can think of to describe this

It's just the NFL sucking up to a few owners.

Unfortunately this committee seems to be one of those appointed until you're out of a job (or choose to resign in disgust like Holmgren did while still in Seattle) deals. Hence Atlanta allowing McKay to maintain an office on their property even after hiring our boy wonder Pioli understudy to run their franchise. Lewis got a seat for turning the Bungles around...for one season. Lots of Dungy/Polian tree connected bodies on that committee... Polian landed his seat for creating the Panthers...an expansion team that won early (then someone else got to clean up the mess).

They'd never let Bill have a seat since 2007, and he wouldn't want to play political grab ass with those clowns anyway. They don't care about the game, they care about marketing the product.

I was thinking Jonathan Kraft certainly not BB who suffers fools poorly

Thanks. The obvious conflict of interest of NaPolian & Fisher in particular, and of that Non-Competition Commune in general, is a disgrace to the human race.

Just like the days when that miserable bastard Don Shula was on the Commune and - what a coincidence - his Doofins were consistently the least-penalized team in the league, I shudder to think about the new ways NaPolian is planning to intimidate the zebras, now that he doesn't even have former mouthpiece Pereira to offer minimal resistance.

WTF must someone who has never followed the NFL think, when told of the structure of the body that is ass-igned to establish & maintain the rules & integrity of the sport?
That someone might say: You've got to be effin' joking...
