Aside from one non-factor penalty, Revis looked like he's the same shutdown corner he was last year. The good news? Cromartie and rookie Kyle Wilson look terrible. I sure hope we can exploit them. Leonhard and E. Smith were almost as bad with their TE coverage too, so let's see what our rooks can do.

Isn't it ironic how much better McCourty looked compared to Wilson. The Jets received all kinds of high praise for picking Wilson while the local mediots in Boston practically wanted to run Belichick out of town. Isn't it amazing how every time BB's critics start crowing the loudest, he always, and I mean ALWAYS, proves them wrong and makes them eat that crow? It's amazing that he's as humble as he is considering the level of idiocy he's surrounded by in the sports media. It's like placing Einstein in a classroom for the mentally challenged.

Too early to determine who is better or who will be a better NFL player. All we know is McCourty had a better game.

Yeah, Brady's gonna have a big game. If they can keep him upright, Patriots win no problem :D

Who is going to cover Welker?

It's really difficult to compare McCourty and Wilson. The Jets place much more pressure on their CB's and Wilson was out there on his own for much of the game with no safety help over the top.

It does appear that McCourty looks more fluid and has better hips than Wilson, I thought he looked stiff out there.

cromarties kids? :D

I laughed all preseason when everyone overhyped Cromatie and Wilson in the preseason. Why?!? Because they played great defense against Mark Sanchez? Or Rex Grossman? Or Matt Moore (14 for 33 for 184 yards, 1 TD, and 3INTs yesterday)?

They finally face a real QB with real WRs and we see why the Chargers traded Cromartie away for nothing and the Pats passed on Wilson for McCourty.

Put Welker on one, Edelman on the other, and this will be a fun game.

And you're calling Flacco a real QB. Wait until he faces the best qb ever...

Compared to Sanchez, Moore, and Grossman? Absolutely. Flacco is a good QB. He had a bad night.

Jest fans say Wilson is going to shut him down. They are usualy right about things. OHHHH NOEZZZ!!!!!!!!!!
Jets fans appear to have had a testiclectomy tonight from the looks of their boards. I think it will take until Thursday before they figure out how they can convince themselves they are SB favorites and can start boasting again.

Gronkowski running post routes all night against Jim leonhard...hmm.... yum!

I partially disagree. I thought Wilson showed good coverage skills....for a rookie. There is no denying his talent, its just the execution was lacking somewhat. Also Ryan left him vulnerable to being picked on by keeping him on that man to man island. Switch him for McCourty and the results would have likely been the same for both teams

Revis looked in mid season form. I'm starting to believe the hype. ;) And as for Cromartie, he showed he just another feast or famine CB who piles up stats and kills defenses with penalties and blown coverages. He's been treated like a God by Jet fans this off season. I'm sure they will turn on him in a "new york minute" very shortly.
