Offensive is terrible. Defense is as good as last year, just some dumb mistakes tonight. Physically they are just as good as last year, if not better. Mentally they werent there tonight.

Wow, last play of the game, Jets receiver goes out of bounds 6 inches short of the 1st down marker. I'm so glad these buffoons got embarrassed on MNF and their fans are booing them. Now, if they can just keep it up in 6 days.

Its hard to believe that the Jets couldn't pick up a better QB than Sanchez. Heck, isn't Penny still around. That was just pathetic. I have to think part of that though may have been the Ravens.

I tend not to draw too many conclusions about teams following Week 1

It's a 1 point difference and one of the teams is going to be on the losing end

The Jets agressive swarming agressive defense is their greatest strength and liability... their coaching obviously isn't good enough to teach them how to channel that high level of energy without committing costly penalties or taking stupid gambles.

If they can eliminate penalties they'll be a formidable defense, but I suspect even if that happens Belichick can adapt and find the weakness in such an agressive defensive stance.

The Jets offense was bound to be meidiocre in general - and that much more so against a team like the Ravens.

All that being said, the prospect of watching Rex Ryan belatedly gain the title of The Biggest Loser and starting off 0-2 is wonderful to relish.

Three major fails for the Jets tonight....The Sanchize who's not ready for the NFL, Shotty who's playcalling is predictible and downright stupid at times, to Wrecks, who's ego insists on blitzing every third down and losing the battles every time.

let the dramatic and highly entertaining season long melt-down begin.

(that defense is nothing to scoff at however, they are legit. even without jenkins they could win 7 games with that defense alone. they shut down ray rice and flacco had to work for everything he god. i hope we don't take them lightly but MAN is sanchez bad. that was some of the worst 2 minute drill action i've ever seen.)

Sanchez played how many seasons in at USC? This season would basically be his JR. season in school. The Jets were crazy to draft him that high. He should be riding the bench somewhere for at least 2-3 seasons.

Like JoeSixPat said, it's only Week 1. That defense is great and I'm certainly not expecting the Pats to put up 38 like they did this week.

I think a lot of us expected the offense to struggle but not that badly.

We'll see what happens on Sunday. I'm definitely not taking the game lightly, I can assure you that.

Though it didn't show up on the scoreboard, their defense was embarrassing as well.

How many 3rd down conversions did the Ravens convert? Regardless if it was by penalty or not. Pathetic.

Had they been playing a Brady, Manning or Rodgers that would of been a blow out.
