With Ojinnaka coming off the suspended list, what move do you think is made to get him on the 53 man roster?

Re: Roster move this week.

Price, Maroney, Fletcher, Maneri, or Deaderick.

Price - no; you don't try to waive a 3rd round pick past desperate teams

Maroney - you don't cut a RB given the age & injury history of the RBs

Maneri out of the 3 mentioned is my bet.

Maybe Kaczur to IR?

:confused2:

Any word on his prognosis?

I'd say so too.

Re: Roster move this week.

I'll bet they slide Maneri throught waivers and resign him to the practice squad. He was a healthy inactive this week and looks to be much more of a long-term project than someone ready to step into the lineup.

Re: Roster move this week.

The rules say that a waiver/PS claim must be kept on the roster for 3 games.

The rules say that a waiver/PS claim must be kept on the roster for 3 games.

That rule only applies to players signed off another team's PS; players claimed off waivers are treated like any other player on the roster. [And, for the record, there is no such thing as a "PS claim"; no PS player can be signed by another team against his will.]

EDIT: The rules regarding signing PS players are actually rather strange in terms of what they allow teams to do, but the basic facts remain that they count against the 53-man roster for a minimum of three weeks, and must be paid a minimum of three weeks' salary.

Ok, so scratch the Maneri to the PS this week.

I think Dane Fletcher was the only player on the inactive list (other than Maneri) that was not on the injury report. As an undrafted FA, how about the option of moving him through waivers, resigning to PS?

Apparently, BB wouldn't take the risk. Marques Murrell just released.
