I clicked around from each pregame show and not on one of them has anyone talked about or even acknowledged the Patriots as being a playoff caliber team. Seems like in most peoples eyes the Patriots are has beens and not worthy of discussion.

This season will be interesting in more ways then one.

4 out of 5 take Pats on ESPN. Was 5 out of 5, but TJ changed his mind and took the Bengals. Douchebag.

Who cares? Next to no one had the Saints winning the Super Bowl this time last year. Most didn't have them winning the NFC South and many had them missing the playoffs. No big deal.

I think preseason predictions are more for entertainment purposes.

Hopefully the team will earn respect along with Wins as the season progresses.

Yup. We're definitely flying under the radar this year. Hopefully these pundits will come crawling back to the bandwagon at season's end when Brady hoists his 3rd SB MVP ;).

Don't know if I totally agree with you. All 5 of the ESPN guys picked the Pats at about 12:40. Everyone thinks the Bengals are a playoff team so they are essentially implying that the Patriots are too.

U betta preach! Who cares about the media? I'm so glad the pats are flying under the radar. This is exactly how I want it.

M.Faulk and M.Irvin on the NFL Network are boneheads saying the Patriot way is finished and picking he bengals to win. Coach and Sapp picked the pats though.

Would you have it any other way?

I think everybody but Peter King has picked the Pats to win today against another Playoff team from last year and probably this year, so I'm not reading this the same as you. And, even if you're right, I like it when we're under the radar and even getting a little disrespect...makes big Vince ornery....

TJ's an idiot. But the rest of the panel knew better.
Pats really took the Bengals' lunch money in the first half.
They let them back into it a bit in the second half but still secured a relatively comfortable 2 touchdown victory.

Bengals so far are still all hype. But they do have a lot of talent at WR.
Pats defense showed me some good things.
I think they got tired in the second half though.

All this is great.

Almost everyone I know has been telling me that the Pats are done. Done. Period. LMAO.

Makes me wonder what kind of drivel the national media have been feeding these people.

On Inside the NFL Collinsworth couldn't wait to talk about his "upset of the week". Thhe Bengals beating the Patriots.

Suck it horse face!
