I just wanted to wish everyone a fun filled and enjoyable day today. I know the season "officially" started Thursday night, but for me the season doesn't start until the Pats play. The thing I always liken it to is Christmas morning when I was a child...just excitement and anticipation and happiness.

Have a great day; I hope all of your fantasy teams have a great day, all the food and drink you enjoy on this special day is delicious, no major injuries throughout the NFL, and GO PATS!!! :rocker:

GO PATS!!!

1 pm cannot come quick enough......:rocker::rocker:

No kidding. I actually have a work meeting from 9-12 and I usually dread Sunday meetings. Today it's kinda nice though, since it'll kill some time and occupy my mind for while.

Tick tock baby, tick tock.....

Happy?

See me at around 4pm today and I will let you know how happy I am

Good luck everyone! I hope we all enjoy the season. I'm still trying to decide if I should stay up very late or wake up very early to see the game. Probably the latter.

Risky move. Have the coffee on hand and enjoy.

Yeah, there is the risk of hitting the snooze button 30 times and then I realize the game is over. It's happened before.

Thanks!

Italian Grand Prix this morning...Pats and good food this afternoon.

Life is good!

Hopefully this opening weekend doesn't give us near heart attacks again. :D

2009: 24-14. Then Watson 2TDs, Mckelvin fumble, too much on the heart for week 1.

2008: Pollard . The game also went down to the last second.

2007: This game owned. Jets get killed at home 38-14.

2006: The Pats start out the season with a fumble for a TD....the Bills almost had us there if I remember.

For those about to enjoy patriot football.... we salute you!!!

I'm soo jacked!! :rocker:

Getting ready to head down Washington St to get dropped off at Papa Ginos and then to walk over to the tailgate. Much more low key nowadays as we only personally use two of our tickets each season after going to every game from 1992 to 2007. Just hoping my brother gets to my house on time, then my wife will drop us off at the end of Wahington St on the Walpole/Foxboro line, then take the 15 minute trek over to our friend's tailgate. We're very lucky because my wife will pick us up at the same place a few hours after the game!
I'm nervous about this game, mostly because the defense looks like it'll be ****e for at least half a season until the younger players get some experience. Hopefully the Pats take this one and make everyone have a good Monday...BTW, Mondays after losses f#cking suck...GO PATS

This is what worries me. The Pats often start the season with a quirky, underachieving kind of performance. Hopefully they do NOT pick up from where they finished last year.

New year, new team, let's go!

31-0 Buffalo loss with that nimble Sam Adams TD scamper.

i am psyched! Can't wait for 1:00! Go Pats!

I feel like a kid on christmas morning whose waiting to open his presents. Less than 4 hours and it seems like time is sloooooowly advancing. I'm playing some 360 to pass the time...

Madden 11? :) That's what I'm doing to pass the time on PS3. Pats vs. Saints online winning so far 21-7.

got my moss jersey on, sideline shorts... sitting with my budlight, waiting on a few friends, watching the pre game shows... lol i cant control myself

Second day of my vacation, chugging some Dew, ready to run through a wall right now I am so pumped.

Battlefield Bad Company 2, it's fun to run and gun and if the opponents conduct warrants it, the occasional t-bag...:rocker:
