CIN @ NE - No need to explain this one.
BAL @ NYJ - Nor this one.
OAK @ TEN - NEP holds Oakland's first round draft pick. The more games Oakland loses, the more times BB can trade this pick down.
CAR @ NYG - NEP holds Carolina's second round pick.
MIN @ NO - NEP hold the Saints 6th round. Okay not really that big of an issue. And watching Farve lose is fun too.
DEN @ JAC -Mia has Jax 7th round pick, the more Jax wins the less it is worth. Plus I don't really like Josh.
ARI @ STL - Jest own Ari's 7th round.
MIA @ BUF - Im not worried about the Bills at all. Having MIA who could be a threat lose early would be nice.
CLE @ TB - Doesn't really affect the Pats one way or the other I just don't like the rat of the coach for CLE.
IND @ HOU -Once again doesn't really matter. But I view Colts as more of threat.
DET @ CHI - who cares. But would be nice if both teams could eek out more wins than Oakland.
ATL @ PIT - AFC vs NFC. Always root for NFC. Plus I want NE to get 4 more rings before Pit gets another one.
GB @ PHI - NFC vs NFC, doesn't matter
SF @ SEA - I am rooting against another former NEP coach
DAL @ WAS -- Time for a new "America's team" and that team is the NEP.
SD @ KC --- I like Matt and Scott, I hope they do well when not facing the Pats.

I'm definitely rooting for the Saints tomorrow night.

I'm also rooting for the Panthers over NYG. The Giants annoy me.

I'd like to see the Rams pull off an upset over the Cards too, as well as the Lions upsetting the Bears, and the Packers beating Philly.

Otherwise I agree with the rest of your choices.

Sunday is going to be fun.

I am going for Lions over Bears :)

Always had a liking for the Lions :) And I cannot stand Cutler! I just want to see him fail again, and prove the JMcD made quite a good choice in getting rid of him :)

Due to our draft picks, I'll root against Oak and Car every week, unless they're playing a team that could impact our playoff status (team standings always comes first).

Other than that, I'm rooting against division foes, Minnesota (assuming Favre is playing), the Mannings, and the Steelers. Not a fan of the Ravens either, but they're not on the same tier as the others.

Everything else doesn't matter to me until the standings start taking shape.

I'll be rooting for McDaniels and Tebow most every week.
I'll be rooting for Dallas against all NFC East teams...what can I say, I enjoy watching Romo and Austin....and Jerry Jones face may fall off on camera
I'll be rooting for SF, I like alot of their parts and wish we had their LB
I'll be watching the Jets games because the highs and lows will be epic
And since I have 21 fantasy teams and can't help myself from wanting more, I'll be watching alot of Aaron Rodgers and Andre Johnson, Tom Brady and the Gronk....my fantasy sleeper. Gotta go, round 13, my pick....Edelman

CIN @ NE: Pats.

BAL @ NYJ: Ravens, even though my fantasy defense is New York.

OAK @ TEN: Titans, of course.

CAR @ NYG: Giants. Draft pick + Hakeem Nicks = Fantasy receiver. I need him to have a big day.

MIN @ NO: Saints. I like Sean Payton more than Brad Childress.

DEN @ JAC: Jags. Jacksonville is my second home and the Jags are my second team. I root for them any time they're not playing the Pats. MoJo is my fantasy RB.

ARI @ STL: No rooting interest.

MIA @ BUF: No rooting interest. Hope it's a physical game.

CLE @ TB: Tampa. Screw Mangini. I hope this is the beginning of a job loss for him.

IND @ HOU: Texans. Nothing like an 0-1 start for the Dolts. Need Garcon, Clark, and Foster to have big days (fantasy receiver, TE, and RB).

DET @ CHI: Lions. I'm hoping they can have a rebound season this year.

ATL @ PIT: Falcons. Screw the Steelers.

GB @ PHI: Green Bay. Don't particularly like Philly. Need DeSean Jackon to have a big day though.

SF @ SEA: San Fran. I like Singletary and what he's building over there. Pete Carroll? Not so much.

DAL @ WAS: Washington for the Shanahan factor.

SD @ KC: Kansas City, although Rivers is my fantasy QB so I hope he throws for 350 yards and 3 TD's in a loss.

Those of you following the draft picks for OAK and CAR may want to root for the league bottom dwellers to win a few. I'm rooting for the Pats. The rest of the teams, it's a bit early to do anything other than enjoy the games.

I want Oakland to have a very high pick IF there is a rookie cap in place if not i want it around 10

You can hope that Ravens O are bad, but the D are all over the Jest O :)

Needless to say, I have Philip Rivers, Arian Foster, MoJo, DeSean Jackson, Hakeem Nicks, Pierre Garcon, and Dallas Clark on my fantasy roster along with the Ghost. If I need to rely on the Jets defense for a win, I'm in trouble.

Yeah, cause it is a high draft pick, there is no way BB would trade it down for a later first and next years first.....:bricks:

I would never be able to bring myself to root for the Jets defense, or any Jets player if I had them on a fantasy team. That's one of the reasons I don't really like fantasy football very much; too much rooting for & caring about teams & players I dislike.

But good luck with your season.

I'm stuck on Minn. On one hand I hate them (especially their coach) and I'm not a fan of their drama queen attention wh**e QB. But on the other hand, I know that if Favre wins the superbowl with the Vikings that Mikey Felger will have a monumental breakdown and may hopefully leave radio and sports in general forever!
Obviously I want the Pats to win it all, but if not... watching/hearing Felger hyperventilate would be VERY fun to witness.

In all seriousness I'm rooting against...
1. any AFC east team winning, Buffalo being the least threatening.
2. Oakland and Carolina winning because we have draft picks of theirs
3. any possible major playoff competition like Indy, Chargers, Ravens.

CIN @ NE - PATS!!!
BAL @ NYJ - Lesser of two evils
OAK @ TEN - People forget, but I don't. I'll never forgive Fisher for this (Forum thread here)
CAR @ NYG - Insufferable after SB 42, screw them
MIN @ NO - Just want to see that diva Favre fall on his face
DEN @ JAC - I'm indifferent for the most part but I still like McDaniels
ARI @ STL - When in doubt, root for the underdog
MIA @ BUF - Lesser of two evils
CLE @ TB - Here's hoping the Browns go 0-16
IND @ HOU - Not rooting for the f*cking Colts
DET @ CHI - Because Jay Cutler is a douche
ATL @ PIT - I'm a fan of Matty Ice and I hate the Steelers, pretty simple
GB @ PHI - The Packers are everybody's SB favorite, would be nice to see the hype train get derailed even for a bit
SF @ SEA - Petey Pete!
DAL @ WAS - Cowboys are obnoxious
SD @ KC - Patriots West

I would never take a single Jet player or unit for my fantasy football team because I would never ever want to root for them for any reason. I want them all to have a horrible year from every last player to every last coach. I usually hate the Jets, but they have become so disgustingly obnoxious that I want everything to go wrong for them short of serious injuries.

I've played fantasy football before and I'm not one of those dorks that gets really into it. I also picked up the Cowboys defense off waivers. I'm starting the Jets Week 1 and keeping the 'Boys on reserve to see how both defenses fare. If the Cowboys look like they'll be a reliable fantasy defense, I'll release the Jets DST. I too can't bring myself to root for them. It's bad enough to that I already have DallASS Clark and Pierre Garcon on my team. But they are going to be two of my biggest point hogs (outside of MoJo), so I need to keep them.

CIN @ NE: Bengals.

BAL @ NYJ: JETS. Obvious reasons.

OAK @ TEN: Titans.

CAR @ NYG: Panthers win the battle of the Steve Smith's.

MIN @ NO: Saints. Drew is still the best QB in football...and my fantasy football QB.

DEN @ JAC: Gotta go with the Broncos...just cause.

ARI @ STL: Saint Louis. The Cards take a serious setback w/o Warner.

MIA @ BUF: The Jills in a rout.

CLE @ TB: Tampa. The Mangina vs the Cadillac. Williams on my Fantasy Team Go Bucs!

IND @ HOU: Texans.

DET @ CHI: Lions. Schwarz will turn this team around...eventually.

ATL @ PIT: Falcons. Go Roddy!

GB @ PHI: Green Bay.

SF @ SEA: San Fran. The 49ers D has the making of something special.

DAL @ WAS: Go Boys...only makes the fall that much better.

SD @ KC: Gotta love the Chiefs.
