Anyone read Shaughnessy's column today? What a whine fest! Gosh, he is such a d-bag. If he, Felger, Tomassi and Borges jumped off the Tobin Bridge, would anyone try to stop them?

At least Felger is entertaining, Shank is just a clown.

It would sadden me to see that vile quartet of low life parasitical scum die with such a minimum of pain and anguish...But as long as they stopped poisoning my beloved world with their despicable sewage, it would bring joy to my heart.

I would LAUGH.

And I would DANCE.

I did NOT read that. I need not.

I've only listened to Felger a few times, by accident, and I find him boring. I change the channel.

An example: A couple of Fridays ago I had to travel mid-afternoon and tuned to 98.5. Felger was on -- railing all about the Patriots drafting and how everyone, include their stupid fans, laud them for trading down. Boring; I changed the channel. Fast forward to this weekend, I'm out in the car and put on 98.5. Felger. EXACT SAME RANT. A good ten days later. I changed the channel.

So, yeah, if these guys' goal is to get us talking about them, I'm playing into their hands. If it's to get me to listen -- it's not working.

For a lot of these guys, their whole schtick is that they're DESPERATE to show how much smarter they are than BB and the Krafts. I actually heard Shaughnessy this weekend say that the Pats need to stop trying to be smarter than everyone else. Really?

These people who whine about the Pats not giving out information need to get a clue. They don't have to give you anything. They'll tell you what you need to know when the time is right. That's the way things should be.

I guess I won't even bother clicking the link--not that I read him anyway.

I try not to also. Thing is my boyfriend is a Jets fan and he sent me the link to Shaughnessy article this morning. He enjoys annoying people. So, yes, he is a typical Jets fan. LOL! Actually, I think he may be making his reservation for Dallas as I type.

Not giving the CHB a link click. Life is too short.

As a long time defender of Felger, I have to say he is starting to bore and annoy me. He has gone off the deep end with his whole salary cap and drafting value over paying talent arguments.

Every show is the same. He cries about how the Pats are just lying about the uncertainty of the CBA and how the Jets are smart because they know there is no way the league would penalize them for spending like crazy and if they do, the Jets have a great lawsuit against the league (good thing he isn't a business lawyer since I am sure Goodell as a former lawyer made sure he sent every team official notice that they manage their own cap in an uncapped year at their own risk and they will be responsible if the new CBA puts them over the cap). He still rehashes the Asante Samuel and/or Deion Branch situations at least twice a week.

I have no problem with Felger as a contrarian as long as he is talking actual football. Unfortunately, the guy is stuck on his "There will be no cap jail and the Pats are lying" rant. That isn't football talk and it is repetitive.

I actually found myself listening to the Big Show yesterday which is better since Pete Sheppard was fired, but still too much pompom waiving and putting on stupid callers to ridicule. And even with the fact I hate the Big Show, it was far more entertaining than the repeated show that Felger put on. Felger has become far too predictable.

Why do you guys still listen to and read them? If they annoy you so much, just ignore them. It's not supernatural.

BTW, I caught Borges on Toucher and Rich and Borges said that the Pats are already planning to dump Brady after this new contract. He is already blasting Belichick for a move he may or may not do 4-5 years from now.

A Jets fan? You obviously know you have no future with this guy. Jets fans hate kids, puppies, and old people:)

I didn't bother to read the column, but it seems as if Shaugnessy loves baseball and the Red Sox so much that he sees the Patriots and their fans as a threat. It's as if he is jealous of the Pats' success and is fearful that may eat away at the numbers in Red Sox Nation. Maybe it's a pride thing; Dan wants to be a writer for the most popular team in town, and one of the most popular, if not the most popular team in the country. With the Red Sox fading and the NFL season starting, he becomes far less relevant.

Why does Shaugnessy feel compelled to write about the Pats? Does Mike Reiss write about the Celtics? Does Adam Schefter give spring training reports on major league baseball teams from Florida? I don't think so.

Agreed.

The entire existence of the media is predicated on interrupting the day of these professionals and thus, making their job more difficult. So to hear the media complain about athletes making their job more difficult is pretty ironic. The self-importance of some of these media members is pretty laughable.

Don't even bother to click the link. Don't support that idiot.

Just a suggestion. Instead of reading Shaugnessy, Borges, and Felger, why don't you stick pins in your eyeballs.

It would be less painful.
