CBSSports.com article: Moss unhappy

If you don't feel wanted Randy why are the Patriots suiting you up every week? The future is what the future is.

Not wanted? They are paying him 6.4 million this year. If they didn't want him they would have traded or cut him.

I wish I was that unwanted!

There will be an opportunity to reboot the relationship with any of these "unloved" millionaires after Brady is re-signed.

Re: Randy Moss: "I am not wanted"

Isn't this clown making $9,000,000 this year? Maybe the reason is is not wanted is because of the halfhearted effort he gave last year.

He already made similar comments earlier in the May, not a big deal to me.

No reason to panic, being in a contract year it doesn't matter if he feels like the most unwanted man on earth, he has to perform big to earn a final big payday.

Re: Randy Moss: "I am not wanted"

This is rehashing an old story. They probably goaded him into giving up a sound bite.

Well, he called the team cheap earlier in the offseason too. I guess these newest remarks shouldn't come as a surprise to even the people that rabidly defended him for his "cheap" comments earlier in the offseason.

That whole quote translates to, "I want to stay."

Calm down.

I can't get enough of all of the variations on this ridiculous theme.

83 catches, 1200+ yards, 13 TDs, and he had a separated shoulder for most of the season.

Wicked halfhearted.

Exactly. If he's upset that the Pats haven't extended him already, his only other choice is to have a big year and get paid in free agency. That only can help us.

Nothing wrong with what he said. He said he'll take this season in stride and see what happens....but it doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to be unhappy with his contract situation.

If you ask Tom Brady and if he wasn't being 'politically correct', he would say EXACTLY what Randy is saying. Moss has never been 'politically correct' and will said exactly what's on his mind.

He's looked like the happiest unhappy person though out the pe-season.

He'd likw to stay. he came in in fantastic shape, has produced very well and we need to offer a contract or he'll play elsewhere.

So what's the big deal. If he plays like I expect him to, it will just be a matter of money and projection by the team. People get their panties in a bunch because players lobby for contracts. As long as they play well, who cares?

He has played for us at a bargain rate, not that it matters.

i wonder when the interview took place.. it says "speaking first time since camp began".

Just like Moss said, it doesn't matter if he's happy or not. He's not going to get the payday that he wants unless he plays well. I don't think there is anything to worry about.
