I'm sorry to bring this up on the main board but I know a lot of you guys play Madden and NCAA Football.

I'm wanting to get a new 360. I basically only play NCAA Football, the Halo series, and use it as my dvd player.

Should the 4gb version be plenty for that or should I spend the extra $100 for the 250 gb?

You should go with the 250gb version if you can afford it because Madden could fill up that 4gb quickly

There is another alternative and that is to buy the 120gb former version which is still available and is cheaper than the 250gb

I suggest the same. 4GB is not alot. Look for deals on the older Elite model, that has the 120GB HD.

Over here, a pre-owned Elite can now be bought for around £100 ($150ish), and I know when the 4GB comes out, it will be more expensive!

4GB? Man that's rough. 20GB wasn't enough for me, but to be fair I do my fair share of gaming. Haven't come close to filling up the 120GB yet.

I have had my 20GB for nearly 4 years, and have never come close to filling it and I do alot of gaming :)

I have th0 360 Live version and I love it. The one REALLY nice thing about it is that I can access my NetFlix account through it and stream movies whenever I want to. The kids can play all the games they want, and I can watch movies when I want to.

V/R

If it was me , i would buy a cheap xbox (with a small HD) and get myself a bigger HD and install it myself. I know you can do that for a PS3 , i suppose it's the same.

If it wasn't for Halo, I would have always owned a PS3. I'm addicted though. :)

Thanks to everyone who replied.

Enjoy Halo Reach when it comes out in the next week or so. Suppose to be incredible.

Halo drives me crazy. I swear some people have cheats installed when they play the games. Never before have I played a game where you can literally shoot someone 20-30 times then get hit once with the butt of their rifle and die. That's one of the reasons why, every time I get a kill, I tea bag the guy that I just killed.

EDIT: ^^ an example of tea bagging for those who haven't played the game.

Dude, he wants to play Halo.. Not really good exclusive ganes in ps3 anyway and
Xbox Live rules.

I can see if someone likes Halo, but PS3 is much better and has great exclusive games too. I'm not into first person shooters, but my cousin doesn't stop playing KillZone 2, which is probably very similar to Halo. Also, Playstation Network doesn't charge you $50 or so a year to play online. ITS FREE. Not even going to get into blue ray. Bottom line, PS3 is better.

I think you should get the X.893 Supra Mega-Man with 4.9 kHz intune qualifier. :bricks:

Does it have a "Flux Capacitor"?

No, but if it breaks in the user's sweaty little hands, Lex Luthor will come and fix it for you.

Ok.. he did mentioned playing halo. Do not compare killzone 2 with halo. PSN doesnt charge but ir has been proven that Xbox Live is THE BEST online gaming service. Its better to pay for Live than using pan for free. And as for blueray, I buy a blueray player.

But, to each to its own. Enjoy your ps3, Ill be waiting for halo reach next week.
