The roster is in motion...it's NOT finished yet and neither is the Practice Squad..the FIRST version of that that is.

There's a ST safety, an oft injured outside linebacker, a speedy wideout and an interior lineman. What about the other 4?? What positions might they be playing??

One may look at this a few ways...one may look at individual players..want them regardless of position (McKenzie is one possibility...) then there are positions that are needed because of a lack of players IN that position on the roster...(QB would come to mind..)

QB I would think...but more for the scout team..and/or to develop in a few years. If there was a way to have Hoyer MORE the scout QB...I would not have another)

I thought about other positions..CB came to mind, but if they were to add a CB it would be MORE for a long term project (possibly TJohnson) more than one that could move to the 53 soon. MORE chance of a roster CB than one here.

In a way McKenzie and the ILB position is similar..MORE long term than needed on the team now.

There is one position where I do not see a large need of developing a player...DL...THAT is already being done ON the roster. Brace, Love, Deaderick, Pryor (Richard IR)..Certainly IF one of these 4 is cut the PSquad would be the place...BUT for now..not.

And the name Buddy Farnham comes up..and here is a player that could play WR...STs..and now some DB,,,perfect for a scout team...as well as ready to go if NEEDED on the 53... versatile..smart a PERFECT PSquad candidate....but maybe another position is needed more on there??

Maybe there''s a need for a RB..a young one..and there will be..although RBs can usually come in and play as opposed to needing a lot of development time. But if a young one is found?? AND there is room??

I tend to think that trenches (both sides) as well as conversion projects and some young players in general (MORE from small programs..) need time on the PSquad...

IF there was a way to get Maneri to the PSquad..and if they did see things they liked THAT MIGHT be a possibility..OT's like all linemen are helped by PS time. So that is also a possibility.

AND there are hundreds of players BB MAY be interested in........

SO for now......... QB, ILB (Mknze if he gets through), DB/WR (Farnham), OT......THAT is a wild guess on my part...with sooooo MANY variables.

Defensive line
Cornerback
Running back
Quarterback

No particular order.

They need to have a scout team arm, unless of course Caserio has convinced BB that he has time in his front office job to come down to the field and pretend to be the opposing team QB.
