I just saw the one pre-season game against the Giants and I noticed a very large man who didn't play like a tub of lard. Otherwise I have no information, except an opinion of Reiss's that he was looking good in camp (Aug. 4). He was probably mentioned in camp reports and I've forgotten, but I'd appreciate any impressions or background.

It wouldn't surprise me if that's the reason he's here. I'm sure during one of his conversations with Saban BB asked whether there were any under the radar guys in the SEC that would fit the Patriots system. If Love turned in a good effort against Alabama he may have gotten a recommendation.
