I thought he had a clear cut path to being the #1 interior backup and choked on it, so he wouldn't be back.
I guess we can hope he just needs more seasoning.

Pepper, fresh ground with some garlic and onion, then slow cook him in the Scarnecchia School for Big Men Dancing. :rocker:

Did he see any time at center? When he was drafted most folks were predicting he'd be groomed as a center, but I only recall him lining up at guard.

One down, seven to go. Yeah I can count. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?

KNEW you'd be happy Box....you called that he would be Neal in the future//at least position wise..

I didnt see it in a game, but read that he worked there in practice.

Re: PATRIOT PRACTICE SQUAD:Ohrnberger

The question of which offensive linemen go on the Pats practice squad just go a little bit clearer.

Larsen claimed on waivers by Bucs - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

Sixth-round draft choice Ted Larsen, who projected as a future candidate to compete with Dan Koppen at center, has been claimed on waivers by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a league source.

The Patriots waived Larsen on Saturday, and had he cleared waivers, he could have been eligible to return to the team's practice squad.

This is one of the risks that teams take when placing players on waivers. While the Patriots probably hoped to develop Larsen for the future, he was a ways away from helping them in 2010.

I could still be wrong, but at least I'm not out yet.

To answer patchick's question, O did get game reps at Center in the first two games.

Re: PATRIOT PRACTICE SQUAD:Ohrnberger

Makes one wonder who the Pats would have wanted first, Larsen or O'burger??

Or did the Pats have first pickins here?

Is Larsen on the Buc's 53?

Yes, Larsen will be on the Bucs 53. Hence the waiver claim.

Ohrnberger, however, clear waivers and was re-signed by the Pats.

re: PRACTICE SQUAD: Ohrnberger, Brown, Crable, Jenkins

Sergio Brown signed to PS, according to RAP.

Great news! I like having that kid around.

re: PRACTICE SQUAD: Ohrnberger, Brown, Crable, Jenkins

The now infamous Shawn Crable has been signed to the PS. Hm...

What price he plays a competitive down with the team now ?

Wow, that is FASCINATING! Can't remember a guy jettisoned that early in camp then brought back to the PS. Perhaps an attitude transplant was needed?

THAT is interesting.
Why did they not let him attend camp if they felt good enough about him to put him on the ps?
Didnt BB say he wasnt ready to go yet and they would think about bringing him back if he 'became ready'?
Dont know what to make of this.
