Last year they gave direct TV subscribers a free week, but I don't see evidence or promos for that this time around.

This is relevant since I live in the Dolphins market and week 1 appears to be only one of perhaps 3 games this year in direct conflict with the 'fins game at the same time on the same network.

bummer

300 bucks is a lot to shell out

There is a free week next week
On direct tv you can`t buy red zone channel by itself.

But 20-30 bucks each time to watch those 3 in a sports bar is much less expensive. I'm out of market too, and that what I used to do before Directv, and its not a bad way to watch the game if you find the right bar, and get there early enough to a) get a good seat, and b) convince the barteder to get the Pats on one of the largeest screens.

On direct tv you can`t buy red zone channel by itself.

Actually as long as you have been with DirecTV for a few years you can call customer service up and request them to add Red Zone to your account for free. You might be able to get it right away or you might need to speak to a few reps but they are offering Red Zone for free as long as you ask (and again have been a customer for at least a few years).

yep, $300 is way to much. Id buy it for $100.

doesnt really matter anyway, you can find 50 live streams of any game you want on sunday.

you sure? it isn't mentioned on their web site or any commercials I've seen.

I'll try phoning for free red zone channel, but my track record with "customer service" isn't so great.

I love living near the Canadian border. Canadian TV seems to absolutely love the Patriots.
