Exhibitions are over and all cases are made, so I thought a place for final predictions would be appropriate. Fire away!

Maroney faulk, taylor and Morris. So long BJGE.

Seeing BJGE get stuffed at the goal line...I mean whacked and knocked back when he should have powered in...I fear you may be right,BMF

I wouldn't be totally shocked if it ends up being Maroney, Taylor, Faulk, Clayton, or even those four + Morris.

For practicality's sake, though, I'm going to go with Maroney, Taylor, Morris, Faulk.

I was thinking how is that gonna be our power/goal line back when he gets knocked down by one guy with one arm. That might have sealed his fate.

they put him in to run THAT particular play...that much was obvious. I don't think one play means a cut, it's his overall ability to perform his role...JMO

I think they should try and get something for Maroney/BJGE. The Denver backfield took another hit Thursday when Lendale White injured his Ankle. Moreno and Buckhalter are not known for being the healthiest of backs and will miss time this year. Maybe a trade for CB Alphonso Smith who is 3rd on the depth chart behind rookie Perrish Cox and may not make the roster.
At least then we get something out of the deal as Maroney will probably be allowed to walk next year.

I felt that Clayton outplayed BJGE. And that kick return he has was a thing of beauty.

Mark Ingram, Kevin Faulk, Armando Allen. Oops wrong year.

Taylor, Maroney, Morris, Faulk

White was already facing suspension for the first four games, so his injury doesn't necessarily change anything for Denver.

Well it looks like White torn his Achilles so will be gone for the whole year now. It was conceivable they could have gotten through the first 4 games without him but now it's a different story.

This leaves Denver with the following RB's
Knowshon Moreno (Held out of Preseason due to Injury)
Correll Buckhalter (Career Injury Prone)
Bruce Hall (Career Practice Squad Player)
Lance Ball (Career Practice Squad Player)
Spencer Larsen (FB)

I think this may qualify as one of the worst backfields in the league. I think McDaniels would be happy to get someone he has familiarity with like BJGE or Maroney.

I feel for White, who looked as if he was going to make it in Denver after the rough time in Seattle.

Having said that, I don't know that Moreno/Buckhalter is all that bad a backfield.

Please can it be Maroney?

You do realize that Ingram is not a burner and might be slower than the gereatric RB's he is replacing?

Last year was a lesson that I'm sure BB won't forget. They will keep all 5.

What lesson is this? That BJGE is so bad he can't see more than 26 carries all year?

No, I was actually referring to the number of injuries that hit this backfield last couple years.
