Re: NESN.com Predicts Maroney to be cut.

no one will trade for him? The leads are weak.

Whiskey bottles...and brand new cars...

Jeff Howe is wrong. That is all.

I would love it if the Maroney Bashing ended tonight. Lets at least give him until his first fumble on the 1-yard line. The bottom line is Maroney is the least of our worries, he actually did a pretty damn good job tonight, averaging more than 4 yards a carry with very little help from his line. He's not a star and will probalby never be, but he's just as good if not better than half the rb's in the nfl. Lets' focus on how soft our defense is, if we want to complain about things.

I can't see Maroney getting cut. Even though his numbers don't show it, he's our most talented running back.

The article suggested Kaczur might go on PUP, so I doubt it was put together with a great deal of thought ...

Maroney averaged 3.6 yards per carry tonight for a total of 32 yards.

I'm not his biggest fan but he gives you good production for what he earns.

Too replace him would cost more and Belichick is big on production / value.

Most talented back? In what sense?

Heh nice prediction

Barring injury, Maroney will have the most carries on the Patriots this year...probably by far. I think he'll have a good year.

I don't know. The evidence doesn't seem to support the idea Belichick's not using him appropriately. Belichick hasn't exactly been reluctant to run the ball when he's had a quality back to hand off to in the backfield.

Only if Taylor and Morris both get hurt.

Given the injury history of Morris and Taylor, letting Maroney go would be just another bone-headed decision from BB.

I have been a major Maroney basher the past couple years.

I would be shocked if we cut Maroney and kept BJGE.

Did you see BJGE get arm taclked at the 1 inch line?
BJGE has shown me nothing this year.

I would welcome a trade for another RB, but please do not pick
BJGE over Maroney.

Yes..NOT much thought at all...Kaczur PUP can not happen..who are these bozos??

BJGE gets cut......not sure if they keep 5 RB's at this point...too many needs at other positions....DL..OL...LB

Jenkins raised his stock as did Myers....too bad no room on final 53 for them.
