Looks like it's going to be trial-by-fire for McCourty as either the starter or full-time nickle. Probably the only guy happy right now in Foxboro is Terrance Wheatley.

Would not be at all surprised to see a trade to bring in another experienced vet to add to the mix. Wheatley and Wilhite now have the most experience of any CB on the roster.

Tough pre-season with the loss of two veteran defensive leaders.
