There probably won't be many, but I thought it might be well served to put them all in one thread. Let me start the list off:

Tired of a lackluster attitude and sluggish running, the Bucs didn't even allow running back Derrick Ward to stay with the team until final roster cuts this weekend.

The team admitted their mistake from 2009 free agency, announcing they cut Ward after only one season with the team.

I read that Bucs weren't happy with him, but I didn't think he would be cut so soon!

Didn't know he was cousins with J.R. Redmond :)

Sorgi and Sinorice Moss got IR'd for the Giants..... I'd heard Moss was in danger of being cut, that's a better result for him, I guess.

Didn't the Broncos give up a 2010 1st for him? Meaning he is essentially a 1st rounder; I doubt they cut him already. Maybe just drop him down depth chart.

Yes indeed, and he's a guy I was hoping the Pats would get in round 3-4. He went way too high, but wow, I'm amazed he's such a bust!

Word out of Tampa is Ward was out of shape in and Morris's dog house.

Fair enough, must have alot of faith in Williams' back-up though!

Was due to make 3 million this year too. Would be interested to see if anyone bites here. looked very good with the Giants.

No kidding. The 2008-vintage Ward definitely had a lot of potential, despite his propensity for making careless leaps through the air while carrying the ball.

Agreed. Should be a lot of tread left on the tires. Alhtough Ward turned 30 yesterday, I believe he has only a little over 2000 career yards on the ground.

Alphonso Smith could be one and done in Denver | ProFootballTalk.com

He hasn't been cut yet, but Alphonso Smith - a guy many of us were high on going into last year's draft - may be cut [making the drafting of Chad Jackson look like a good value and a good return by comparison.]

LOL. The plan is working!! Bill must really hate the Broncos for him to send McD to destroy that franchise from inside out. Getting rid of Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Schefter, then drafting Smith, and now Tebow. :singing:

Now all Josh has to do is trade us Champ, Moreno, and Clady and then it'll be complete.:rocker:

I reckon a 7th and Wilhite? Champ is getting on now ;)

I know JMcD has his reasons but he sure has gutted the young, top-tier talent from that org. Wow.

Right because Cutler is such a stud. The guy is the most overhyped QB in the NFL, quite possibly in the history of the NFL. The guy has yet to bring a team to the playoffs, his TD/INT ratio is horrendous - yet the media calls him an elite QB. Marshall for all his talent is counter productive to building a winning franchise from scratch. He is not the guy you want young players looking up to. Schefter clashed with McDaniels throughout last season, so that isn't a surprise.

Tebow was a head scratcher. He did bring in Kyle Orton who is a better QB than Jay Cutler. He brought Dawkins and Hill to fill a huge void on Defense. Signed Andre Goodman to play opposite Champ Bailey and had a very good year. Drafted Clady and Moreno, brought in Buckhalter and signed Jabar Gaffney to help the offense.

Yup, he is destroying the orginazation by getting rid of never will be's and malcontents.

I recall him making a nice TD catch in the Bucs 1st PS game against the Fish. Guess it must have been all downhill from there.
