"Hopefully what we saw the other night was a sign of things to come."
Precisely my feelings as a fan.

Typically I agree 100% with the dont jump to conclusions approach. As someone who did not bash Brace it now amazes me that one pre-season game against a pitiful opponent and now he's proven to be worthy of the 2nd round. Way premature.

Mg, please go back and focus on his play. I am telling you right now, this guy is our starting DE. In both games he physically owned the blocker across from him. Watch him then watch any other DL on the team, and see the difference.Three weeks ago, the majority of poster wanted to cut Brace. He has made zero tackles in a regular season game since then. I am just glad to seem him able to play some DE. You can win a bet by aksing "who is the slowest DE in the nfl?".
Seriously, it is good to have Brace in the mix. We know have two young backups from last year's draft.

I focussed on him when he was in there, so I saw the one on one battle, and he flat out dominated it.
Also, posters wanting to cut him 3 weeks means less than nothing.

We have lost Seymour and Ty Warren and seem to be solid at DE.

So wait, it's okay jump on Brace and call him a bust, but you bring out the Jump to Conclusions map when people say he'll be good? Or are you making fun of the people who said he would suck?
I said solid.
I didn't say that we had the best 3-4 DL as we had in the past.
The defensive line is no longer the major strength of the defense, but it is also not the huge weakness it could have been with Ty Warren being injured.
