Did anyone see it? I have never seen him be a bigger douche...and that's saying something. His hatred of BB is so strong. He was disgusted by the press conference calling BB a 4 yr old, the secondary is awful, etc. etc. Tanguay to his credit, actually called him out on it. God I can't stand Borges and his smug attitude. "If BB gets the credit when they win how come we blame the players when they lose...its got to BB." Sorry for the rant.

Re: Borges on Comcast Sports

Every once in a while the agenda rears it's ugly head when he goes off his anti-psychotic meds. He's been waiting a decade now to say I told you so. He will maintain vigil until either Bill leaves or he dies.

Re: Borges on Comcast Sports

If "we" blame the players when they lose -- and since this is from Borges I assume he includes himself -- that's "our" (Borges's) problem. One thing BB ALWAYS says when they lose is "we were outplayed and out coached." He NEVER gives the coaches and himself credit when they win.

And with that I've wasted too much time on Borges. His hatred of BB is a deeply personal thing and eliminates him from the short list of worth while media people.

Actually, I think you crossed that bridge when you began the post. :) :(

Who is this Borges guy???

Borges is a supremely untalented individual. His only way to get people to pay attention to him is to say outrageous things. By bringing attention to his idiocy, all you are doing is giving him what he wants.

I saw it...and it's embarrassing at this point. Its sad too, because in the late 80s up to the mid 90s he was a very good writer at both boxing and football. He's always been very "anti management" across the NFL, but his hate for Belichick is really ridiculous. He's the only one who looks foolish at this point. Nothing that comes out of his mouth or keyboard is at all credible because of this sick anti Kraft/anti Belichick infatuation.

BTW, he looks like Simon Bar Sinister with those eyebrows.

I never have to deal with this because as soon as I see his face I click to another channel

Borges has some serious unrequited love for BB. I wonder if Bill turned him down, and that's the source of his obsession.

I know you're kidding but the Borges stuff has a long history. He was very close with Will McDonough who was very close with Parcells. After the whole, "picking out the ingredients" thing, Borges chose Team Parcells and started ripping Kraft. When BB was hired, Borges was upset because he couldn't get the access he previously had. And the big thing that set it off was the Bledsoe - Belichick thing. Borges and Drew were (and still are) very tight pals. Borgie though Belichick screwed over Bledsoe and treated him disrespectfully. It just got uglier after that.

I also saw the show. You have to wonder whether Comcast will invite him back..oh; I'm sorry Felger undoubtedly will

Botges and Felger should be joined at the hip, so they could be ignored more easily.

I used to watch the shows ALL the time, I even would record them and watch later when missed.

I have not seen the show or most like it for at least 2-3 years now.

That's it....done, do not miss them at all.

I see all the press conferences and read all the player quotes, so I really have no need for ratings driven antagonistic, demeaning, hateful, spiteful, moronic, mediotic banter.

That goes for Borges, Felger, tony mazzhole, shaugnessey, and whomever else is on these days.

I don't watch their shows, read their newspapers or listen to their stupid radio shows and I haven't missed anything.

My information comes from press conferences, patriots website, price, reiss, nfl radio on sirius, nfl network - I will listen to dale & holley and that truly is about it and all I need.

I form my own opinions and figure I have more information about the team than any of the above.

Sure would be nice to see an intelligent, local, football show in this market, I think the ratings would bear fruit. Someone will figure it out and reverse the current trend, i hope. Until then - sponsors, you are wasting your money.

Thanks for the warning. I was planning on watching the later version at 11:00, but definitely not watch now. He has become totally pathetic, it's actually sad. I have e-mailed CSNNE and told them that I change the channel when I see he's on. Maybe if thousands of others did the same, and the sponsors got wind of it, it might change, but I doubt it.

Borges would rather continue to look stupid and make an ***** of himself than admit he was wrong. Hes still stuck in the old time political game the writers played, Im not interested in the old farts or their misguided opinions.
Felger's in a call by himself and he doesnt get a minute of my time either, Im pissed I wasted two minutes of my time thinking about those two today..

Borges is a plagiarist. He lacks professional credibility all the way around.
Here is what you do with Borges. You never read his plagiarism and you change the channel whenever he and his bug eyes show up
If you cite his drivel then he wins. Ignore the perv!

You guys ever notice the only threads without any semblance of an argument are the ones that are Felgers a douche, Borges sucks, even the trolls agree with that. :singing:

Good point...................You are what you are and it is what it is!!!

Yeah, I agree. It is unfortunate because his hatred for Belichick is so obvious that it smothers anything else he does. If he can stay on the topic of football and keep away from commenting about BB (and to a lesser extent Kraft) as well as anything to do with the union and player contracts, then Borges is actually one of the best, if not the best football writer in the Boston media. It's sad that we never get to see that due to his resentment of Belichick, and the fact most of us tune him out as a result of that.

Excellent point. One thing I would add is that from what I understand Bledsoe was Borges' source for a lot of information about what was going on with the Patriots. This resulted in two things: first, once Bledsoe was traded his inside knowledge for his columns on the Pats dried up. Second, he let that result in a complete lack of objectivity, beginning with the Bledsoe or Brady debate back in 2001.

Borges' downfall was not the plagiarism scandal, it was the fact he took Bledsoe's demotion and trade personally, never let it go and never moved on.

Borges makes a living off of being the Patriots Resident Contrarian.. with that being said, why do people continue to watch him.. if they did not watch or read him, he might no longer exist...

One time I got into an email war with him, and he descended into idiocy & incoherence fairly quickly... he is nothing more than an azzclown..
