Just glad that we NOT drafted him with/out our "worldclass" passrush :p:p

According to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, Baltimore Ravens injured rookie outside linebacker Sergio Kindle will undergo two to three days of neurological and other medical exams next week to examine his fractured skull, according to coach John Harbaugh.

The Ravens expect him to begin the season on the physically unable to perform list, but didn't rule him out for playing at some point this season.

"He's been able to work out," Harbaugh said. "Some of it's coming from Sergio, who's very optimistic, but also from the doctors who say he's ahead of schedule. He's really recovering very quickly, which is very encouraging. That's why we want to get him here and have the doctors compare notes with the people down in Dallas."

As far his timetable, Harbaugh said: "The basic expectation is he'll be on PUP to start the season. There's no way he'd be ready to go. Nobody would risk that, but I think he goes on the inactive PUP to start the season and then we evaluate it from there and see where we're at."

When asked if he would rule out the former University of Texas star for the season, Harbaugh said: "No."

Re: For all S.Kindle lovers

I was glad for us we didn't draft him and happy for him he got drafted as high as he did. At least he gets his signing bonus and a year of IR salary. Maybe he can fix his narcolepsy. I thought his knees were shot too.

Give him another season; then we can say he is truly Crabled! At the moment he is just REALLY unlucky :)

Falling down one flight of stairs is unlucky.
Falling down two flights of stairs is slapstick.

And how's Cunningham working out so far?

All I'm saying is, don't gloat just yet.

Still the most overrated passrusher of the draft...

Wish he was a available for the opener with the Jets alas.

I love Kindle, but I'm a little irk that I advanced ordered the 3rd generation version, and now they are so back ordered Amazon can't even tell me when I'll get it.

Before the news broke about his knee injury, I had him as a possible Patriot 1st round pick. His knee was one thing but the fractured skull is a serious thing.

I hope the guy makes it back next year healthy then we can see if he's a Crable type player or not.

i dont know why we feel the need to piss on a guys misfortune.

Yup I agree, I was glad we didn't take him when I heard about his knees but this is another kind of misfortune and I feel bad for the kid (Not that I wouldn't feel bad if his knees were what kept him off the field).

Id call the man a "bonehead", but obviously his head's made of glass.

I find it interesting that a rumor made the rounds pre-draft that Kindle had narcolepsy. That rumor was quickly debunked as pre-draft smoke, then this news came mere weeks after Kindle was drafted.

You can never know what to believe.

I find no reason for this thread to be on this forum other than to bash an injured player. So I'm moving it to the VLR where the posting bar is set much lower.
