Patriots are expected to place rookie DL Kade Weston on IR, player sources said. He'll be waived/injured, will go on IR if not claimed.

So, if he makes it thru waivers he'll be on IR. He's a project anyways. I'd say moreso than Deaderick. Probably would have been cut and possibly had a shot at practice squad if he hadn't been hurt.

A big to-do was made of the Vikings snatching up Garrett Mills 3 years ago, and he's been little more than a professional practice squad-er. Cincy picked up Corey Mays a few years back, what has he done?

Cory started for KC last season. He's not a stud, I was sorry to see him get snatched by Cincy since I thought he had played much better then Lua that preseason and would be solid ILB depth as a ST's Ace. Such is life.
