Re: Week 1 related news (Bengals)_

Their pass rush is very good, and they have a big mobile O-line.

Tough task.

that division is shaping up to be awesome. They (Cinc, Balt, Pitt) will beat the crap out of one another...should make for great football games

I predict the Bengals 4-0 2009 record against those 2 teams is 0-4 or 1-3 this year.

Re: Week 1 related news (Bengals)_

Last year I said I would drink my own piss if we lost opening week to Buffalo so I'll refrain from making any predictions for this game

You must have some serious Leodis McKelvin love

Re: Week 1 related news (Bengals)_

Let's watch the police blotters to see which Bengals will be arrested and in jail over the next few weeks

How do you think ball players develop such great speed? They run from the cops when they are young.

Once more, the importance of establishing the running game is inescapable.

Re: Week 1 related news (Bengals)_

it's amazing how so much more optimistic the Bengals' boards are. It's like they saw a different game.

What do you expect? I mean really. Do you think someone would come here and see a bunch of talk trashing the Pats? Fans are always going to look at the glass half full for their respective teams.

Haven'tyou noticed that the Bengals are winning now? Its at least partially because the jailbirds, dope fiends, rapists and other assorted criminals, are all gravitating to Gang Greene now a days. :rocker:

Semi-unrelated, but I just found this tweet from Ross Tucker about my draft binky Stewy!

Holy cow. Ochocinco just almost got decapitated by Stewart Bradley. That was sick.

I am not going to lie, this Bengals team scares me a lot. The Pats are def. going to have to have a better opening game then we did last year, depending on a fumbled kick-off to save us from losing to one of the worst afc teams of that year. Our "new" (hopefully revitalized) defense is going to have to be just that; we'll need them coming out fiery and physicall and we'll just have to pray for some kind of pass-rush to magically appear.

I am going to take a wild guess and assume that you haven't seen any of our preseason games, being way up yonder in New Hampshire.

I haven't watched Cincy play yet this preseason for more than a few reps against the Eagles, but I didn't come away excessively nervous.

So let's beat the crap out of them and then trade them one of our Safeties so they can beat the crap out of the Jests and Delphiniums.

Cincinnati Bengals backup S Gibril Wilson suffered ACL and MCL tears to his knee during Friday's home game against the Philadelphia Eagles, his agent, Alvin Keels, said via Twitter.

With Wilson likely to miss the entire 2010 season, that leaves the team thin at the free safety position. Second-year S Tom Nelson (knee) remains on the physically unable to perform list, leaving starter Chris Crocker and fourth-stringer Rico Murray as the only healthy free safeties.

So instead of staking out honey basted Massachusetts refugees on ant hills you'll be watching Survivor reruns for your kicks? Once more civilization proves to be the downfall of the gentle and simplistic hunter-gatherer peoples. :ugh:

Us flatlanders resemble that remark :p

Don't worry. That's one pleasure that we never outgrow!

True story. When my wife and I went to get our marriage license in her home state of VA, the clerk asked where I was from. I said, "Concord, New Hampshire". She replied, "Where's New Hampster? I've never heard of that state". /facepalm
