Trying to find a link, but it's been reported on NFL Network.

Reports: Favre Aboard Plane Headed For Minn. - wcco.com

La Confora is now reporting that it's headed toward Minnesota and he thinks that Favre will once again be quarterbacking the Vikings again this season, which makes our October 31st meeting that much more interesting.

Re: OT: After meeting with Vikings trio, Favre has boarded a plane headed north.

Favre? Don't believe I've heard of him.

Re: OT: After meeting with Vikings trio, Favre has boarded a plane headed north.

One of the few guys I'd like to see go down in their season opener.

Re: OT: After meeting with Vikings trio, Favre has boarded a plane headed north.

Why won't he just p**s off??

Does he want to further his interception record?

Re: OT: After meeting with Vikings trio, Favre has boarded a plane headed north.

I wonder if there'll be a 90-minute special. Maybe with some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of today's meeting.

Kontra fillin' me in on all the latest deets. Whew. I was having a "Kontra Jones" the last few days. Poppin' over 'bout 60, 70 times, scouring the latest post identities on all the thread listings, and?... nuthin'! No Kontradiction moniker to be found er nuthin'. Just a whole buncha Andy Johnsons everyplace.

Now I feel whole again.

With an excitin' Favre update too. Even more better.

Every time I see sumpthin' excitin' happen in footbawl, the first thing I think of is "Gee. I wonder what Kontra thinks 'bout that one.?" Like watching Eli get clocked in tha noggin last night, that was the 1st thing that came to mind. See all the influence you rack up 'round here?

Here we go again. Watch for NFLN and ESPN to cover this nonstop for the next 72 hours complete with the same old footage of him running with helmet in hand showing what a winner he is, him joking about farting saying "You don't think God farted" showing what a good ol boy he is and him doing his stupid Keith Jackson impression showing what a likeable guy he is. How do I know this? Because it has already happened a half dozen times.

They can just change dates, and use the same as last years, and the year before and the year before's 'comeback' montage. They have probably had it ready to go for the last month :)

They have more Green Bay footage of him that they haven't shown in a while. They could always break it out and do a bad superimpose of a Minnesota jersey and helmet on him using Adobe Photoshop.

So who's planning to take a drink every time they say "gunslinger"?

I bet John Madden is hard...ly doing anything but being excited :D

I'll believe it when Mariucci reports it!!:singing:

Last time the HC had grovel and pick the diva up at the airport. This time they had to dispatch a pair of linemen to Kiln to beg him to come back. Next year they'll probably have to mobilize the Minnesota National Guard to drag him in.

The plane can always crash ... Right? :bricks:

I gotta check the liquor cabinet. I'm not sure I have that much left.......

This guy is beyond belief. How degrading for the Vikings. The entire organization seems populated by eunuchs. No winners in this situation, just losers - Favre, the Vikings and ESPN. I don't care what their ratings are when it comes to this soap opera, just as with Lebron's "The Decision". The network is a joke, Childress is a joke (as if we didn't already know that) and the Vikings are a joke.

They will send the whole of Minnesota :D

"Brad Childress is the problem with this situation. This would never happen in New England, because they have a head coach who knows how to handle situations."
