That's nice... Hopefully he goes into broadcasting when he hangs 'em up...

His Chiefs beat us in 2005, on my birthday in fact. Makes it easy to remember

I am glad Brace is getting good reviews. I think the guy gets too much crap for missing the early part of camp when everyone just assumed he was held out for conditioning. Disapointed to see Cunningham didn't make the trip. Looks like Whilhite is on his way out the door. Good to see the Pats overall look sharp vs the Falcons in practice.

Wilhite's struggles bring to mind the question of Kyle Arrington playing actual CB on defense. Did anyone notice him, good or bad, during the Saints game? I know he played some with the 2's or 3's, but didn't notice anything one way or another.

I thought Wheatley looked decent the few times I noticed him, so without Wilhite we'd still have 4 CB who can play situationally, but I'd feel better with a 5th (be it Wilhite or Arrington) in case of the inevitable injury.

Best twit of the day was a two parter. Part two is the bomb. Vince is goin' old school. Sounds like something one of the old backerhood brothers or Rodney would have said...

Attaboy Vince!! :rocker:

Its not like I was out there during TC trying to get a read on Kyle as a corner but I recall several plays being made and then realizing it was him and not standing out for negative plays like the positive ones did. But certainly not recalling bad plays and remembering some good ones is not a legit scouting report.

It's a tidbit and I appreciate it nonetheless. Either way I'm hoping we don't have to use the 5th CB very often, as I believe we can use some of our safeties as the 5th or 6th DB on necessary downs. If we're down to Wilhite/Wheatley/Arrington (whoever the 5th is), it probably means we're a bit banged up back there.

Brandon Spikes doesn't play touch football, d%#*!@t.

Practice report: Secondary faces Brady to Moss barrage | Atlanta Falcons

Brady and wide receiver Randy Moss connected for two touchdowns. He caught one that appeared to be over Christopher Owens. He caught another and then went behind the Falcons players on the sidelines and told them “that’s two today.”

Moss later dazzled the crowd with a one-handed grab with Brian Williams in coverage.

Anyone else worried about Cunningham not being at practice? He hasn't been around for a number of practices lately.

Does he have dreads?

I am sure I read that he had an ankle sprain, but should make a full recovery over a few days.

A few days? Hasn't it been a week or so? I fear Cunningham has been Crable'd.

i am worried he's turning into the new crable.

Brandon Spikes!!!! I just don't know how to contain myself when I think of this kid's potential.

I found this on ESPN Boston:

Cunningham was injured last Wednesday in a joint practice with the Saints while playing on the punt return team. The actual injury, and the severity of it, is not known. Cunningham did walk off the field under his own power before being checked out by the team's training staff. The injury kept Cunningham out of the preseason opener against the Saints and has since cost him some valuable time on the field, where he had been off to a strong start in camp

Only information I can find; seems strange there is no other news.
