OK, it's crunch time. Make you case. You can keep two of Morris, Green-Ellis and Thomas Williams. You can keep a 10th OL. Or you can keep only one running back and turn the roster spot over to the defense.

TWO ROSTER SPOTS
pick one or two

#4 RB
#5 RB
#10 OL

Green-Ellis & Morris.

Depends whether we keep 24 or 25 on O I could see 26 players on the D.

2 QB, 3 TE, 6 WR, that leaves 13 for the OL and RB is we keep 24 on the O, That would seem to dictate 4 RB and 9 OL. IF we keep 25 on the O I would see a 5th RB due to the age of our RB's. We have a couple of OL who cold be placed on the PS.

I cut Fred Taylor and keep all 3.

I'd make a comment on this, but I want see these players in more than one game.

I think that you have it right.

OFFENSE - ROSTER SPOT 24
I would choose between Morris and Green-Ellis or even a free agent for the #4 RB spot. I think Morris still has the edge at the moment.

OFFENSE - ROSTER SPOT 25
I would turn this spot over for use by the special teams or defensive units. I would indicate my support for the choice of Thomas Williams, given his value as a fullback.

I don't know why but I am not as high on BJGE as everyone else seems to be. Not a bad RB and definitely has some skills but I can't see him being anything but a fill-in RB and STer. So between the choices you present, I'd keep Morris and an extra OL. Ideally though, I'd like to see them sign someone who would actually be an upgrade at RB to compete/replace Maroney. I like Maroney but clearly BB doesn't so I say replace him.

IIRC, Reiss and I think his intern (who seems knowledgeable) both had Williams making the team because of his added value as an FB. Then I saw Reiss's breakdown from Thursday night had Williams in as linebacker for just one play. Seems to me if you want to keep a guy for versatility you need to use him in versatile ways -- as always this time of year, it's just one pre-season game, but I'll be curious to see how many snaps he gets at LB this week.

Actually look like only two snaps at FB in the game.

Well, I don't know what this would mean my decision was, but here are my projected RB and OL corps:

RB: Maroney, Morris, Faulk, Green-Ellis
OL: Light, Vollmer, LeVoir, Kaczur, Bussey, Neal, Connolly, Ohrnberger, Koppen, Wendell

You are giving Kaczur a roster spot?

Isn't he unable to be placed on PUP? I'm talking about the 53, not the 45 man gameday roster.
